@timothyngim No, the difference here is that the Secret Service are a bit more in one's face about their protection. The belief being that, if it's known that there is a tight perimeter around the president, the likelihood of throwing off a wood be assassin is greater. For HM, it's well known the security forces are there. Look at the crowds. Do you see the police shoulder-to-shoulder? Not to mention the vehicle is armoured and (hopefully) bulletproof.

The British Monarchy and system of government is one of the most advanced, developed and stable systems of government in the world.
