  • You do not have any dimensions remain at all lengths? im thinking about building one! Thanks Emil

  • Went to store to purchase a jib crane. Wow, the prices are too much for my pocket. Your video inspired me to just make one. Your design is simple to follow. Could you please email me the measurements of the crane so I will know how long a pole I will buy and where to drill the holes. Thanks

My email is jaymers3@juno.com - Steve

  • @3jaymers Well i don't know the exact measurements. I almost never work with measurements i just make stuff.

This model is about more than 3 years old and is changed during the time. I think the long pole is like 2.5 meters and the smaler one is about 2 meter. The distance between thous pole's dosn't realy matter. Just start building it's easy. Be creative.

  • Sweet!!! Love it.

  • that looks like a ripstik caster

  • @Phillies2628 grocery caster thats more like it. I think thous ripstik casters are to small.

  • @Naar420 nice job on the jib, i just built a scecthy one today, and it works well

  • haha i didn't know wat a jib crane was, i thought it was like an actual crane, until i saw the camera mount. lol

  • Using the upturned castor is a great idea. Cheaper than a lazy Susan bearing.

  • AWESOME MUSIC! AND NICE JIB!

  • that music will be good for a horror movie

  • That is awesome dude! I hope you don't mind but I borrowed your idea of using the caster(minus the wheel) for my third jib. Will post some footage in the coming week.

  • Thats where its there for m8. Show me your footage when your done! Good luck take care.

  • awesome homemade jib..

off topic: whats the song name? please!

  • First song is Dracula made by Gorillaz from the album Gorillaz

second half is Double Bass alsow from Gorillaz from the album G-Sides

  • tank you , now i know how star,

  • That is beautiful. I like the fact that you've simply stuck a tripod on the front of it, must make angling the camera very easy. But what is it that you've used to attach the jib to the tripod? The bit that allows it to rotate. I'm building a jib and that's the bit I'm stuck on.

  • Well that my friend is a peace of a wheel.

Like you find on some shopping trollies.

I removed the wheel and turn it upside down and put thous bars in. Good Luck!
