Does anyone know the true status of Moto Morini? I would love to get one for myself here in Los Angeles, California. Appears there are some units left in the UK but not sure. Any info would be helpful.
@DicatiDrew The company has gone into Italian-style liquidation... the workers have been running the company the past few months since it's gone bankrupt, and the were selling many new bikes for almost half the price, around 6000 euros for a new corsaro, but with no guarantee since they were shutting production down. They had released a PDF with pricelist, but I guess all bikes should've been sold. In early 2011 they started to produce 45 more bikes with parts remaining in the inventory, but----
@DicatiDrew ---- I believe there were no corsaros on the list, if that's what you are after. They failed to come to an agreement with Paolo Berlusconi and other Italian investors, also failed to sell on the first auction to interested international parties (mostly from India), and theres a second auction in summer 2011, let's keep our finger crossed someone will buy them and start production again, preferably someone from Europe who understands the situation and history of the brand. @DicatiDrew ====you can find one in USA, I've no idea, but you can try contacting them in Italy, or the UK distributor maybe. Hope they have some corsaros left in stock. There are a few (3-4) brand new corsaros available here in Greece for around 12-14000 euros. There's also a couple in Germany, try the website mobile dot de. It might be expensive importing the to the US though. Good luck finding one, they are awesome machines, too bad I can't get one, and let's cross fingers they'll be back!
