The flaws in many drug trials are that 1. The patient learns the intended benefits of the drug in advance. 2. The patient is able to tell if he received the drug by realizing its symptoms. 3. The patient is able to tell if he received the placebo based on lack of symptoms. Therefore, the studies are not blind and expectations are not controlled.

On the other hand, in a homeopathic trial, the patient is not able to detect symptoms of the medicine, because there aren't any.

i'm sorry - there is no scientific evidence for the effectiveness of homeopathy other than the placebo effect.

That was very informative. Alternative medicine is an amazing way of prevention, however drugs and surgery are a lot more effective when it comes to actual treatment in some cases.
