@CRTEMB It was a very good year.We celebrated 200 years of America on the 4th of July with the biggest fireworks display west of the Mississippi. The crowd was insane. Life was good indeed. I was 21 and did not have a care in the world. Every day was a new adventure. But I would bet your life is just as special. I have a son your age. He loves the music of the seventies and of his own generation. Rock on.:)
@cornflowerblue7 thank you for your reply....i like korn and any intense vocals....not many people have their own voice...but when they do you can hear it
This stuff needs to get out there...That '76 stuff is tremendous...The solos in here are crazy. I made a CD of nothing but Hurricane live over the years and this set and the Boston early and late shows are JAMS.
@Dobiegillis1965 It's almost like I wrote your comment! The 1973-1978 live material are Neil's philosopher's stone. The tapings of the Tonight's the Night shows are said to be minimal.
Interesting. I, not a musician, think that the guitarwork in this song, any version , is among the best guitarwork ever. And I mean not only Young, but rock music in general.
Fantasic. I'm about his age, not getting younger... :)
