On a twisty road, a good rider can keep up with liter bikes with an SV650 all day long. Learn how to ride properly, then you won't need the extra power to make up for how much you suck. @rides1naked sorry sv650 cannot keep up with a litre bike, not on twisty a roads, any road you care to mention - the difference in riders would need to be so far apart you couldnt call it. Sv650 is an old tractor, and the suspension is utter shit.

@exup1k it's always easy to spot the people who haven't really learned how to ride. The suspension IS crap, and with a little money/hands-on time, it's completely replaced with sport-bike or racing suspension, and rides in a whole new class. I knew someone who had a hard time stopping SV's from passing him on the dragon.. and he was riding a 1050 speed triple. Anyone who thinks they need a liter bike to go fast is.. well, is probably right. THEY probably do need a liter bike to go fast. I don't.

@rides1naked 1050 rider is obviously alot slower rider than sv rider, down to the rider at the end of the day - BUT with equal riders, theres no chance an sv will keep up with 1000cc four. Ive rode plenty of sv650s, and i honestly couldnt see one keeping a 1000cc in sight, let alone give it a run.
