What really gets me is they never say WHY the rabbits are looking for a new home. There's no explanation, at least not so far. Even if you haven't seen the original movie, you can tell this started halfway through the story.

The journey and dark, social implications of the original book and movie were spared on this series due to social pressure against the "anti-feminist" views of the manuscript. Does were seen as breeding machines and only to further a Buck's warren. THIS series sought to redeem that by making: 1. Blackberry a doe, 2. introducing other female species, 3. Adding more "cultural" diversity by way of introducing a wider species introspect.

Still, I like the movie a bit better.
