This movie is nothing but a con job. The casting was like a for a clothing commercial. The camera work was boring especially any thing in the first 10 minutes can be skipped. This cut pretty much was my entire impression of the movie thanks to my fast forward button. I didnt miss a thing. Super8 was a royal cheeze too. JJ Abrams, your name sucks.

There's just something about this movie that's so unique! I love it! It opened a whole new trend of movie-making on youtube. They proved it's okay to film monsters with a hand held camcorder as long as the steady feature is turned on.

yeah, pretty realistic movie, but scary? I get so freaking scary easily, when i was a kid a was scared only by watching "the mask" with Jim Carrey. So, no its no scary, but the adrenaline is there in the whole movie (expect for the 30 minutes of boring party time)
