  • I watched this one because it didn't have B.O. in it.

  • I saw this in February 2011 and it was amazing! It was my first time at Disney.. (I was 15)

  • Well done i say to mr. Disney his animatronics ( first man animated animatronics was Abraham Lincoln by the way ) acted like they were real and move during the speach and look liked they r having conversations and thank you for you made this wonderful video...

  • I remember being so bored when my parents took me to see this when i was 6. Now, id be fine sitting through it I guess. But when i was little, I couldnt wait to leave.

  • I don't know why but whenever I see Abraham Lincoln the voice I have in my head is Gregory Peck. A kind, warm, fatherly voice. I was so disappointed when DisneyLand removed the Lincoln attraction for repair. I hadn't been to DisneyLand for years and went specifically for that.

  • Eric Foner ruined this attraction when he was allowed to make it revolve around slavery and civil rights instead of, you know, the presidents.

  • The only real voice here is The real president :3

  • @ru42 : Is this a ride or a program?

  • so boring boring

  • *sigh*

Can we ever talk about American history without it having to revolve around slavery?

  • @CarlChub No.

  • @CarlChub

You can if you want but, if you look at slavery as "just a passing phase" or not a big deal, that would be a slap in the face to our president who was KILLED over the issue of slavery and the hundreds of thousands of Americans who died and went to war over it. The next time someone mentions slavery, don't be so quick to cover your ears or feel embarrassed or ashamed... be PROUD! America worked really, really hard and too many lives were lost get to where it is today.

  • @karol504 I'm not ashamed or embarrassed of America in any way, shape, or form. I'm proud to be an American. I'm just sick of hearing about our Founding Fathers and our ancestors as these evil slave drivers. People act as if America was the only country in the world that participated in the slave trade, when in reality, only 5% of all slave ships were en route to America.

  • This is creepy. They mov really life like.

  • wahahahaha!

  • BEST SLEEP RIDE EVER!!!!!!!!

  • @dontworryaboutit2110 ehh some liked him some hated him...but i still looove this attraction

  • when I went to disney world they were STILL working on this

  • This is my favorite video of the Hall of Presidents. One of my favorite parts is when Tyler and Jackson look as if they are having a conversation during Lincoln's speech. So real looking. Mr. Disney would be proud.

    Great job ru42.

  • @WhistlefanBill - Thank you for the highest compliment. Yea, I love the interaction of the AAs off to the sides of the one talking. So darn cool, A subtle effect that is hardly noticeable that it is there; but would be really noticed if it wasn't there.

  • right, what we need is aload of nodding robots, brilliant. what will they think of next?

  • this was when it was amazing without Obama

    =D

i looooooooove all of these presidents except Bill Clinton! I loove american history! <33

  • Agreed. We need another Washington or Jefferson!

  • This is great to have this on video, but what happened to the ending where they show the Apollo Saturn V launch on the big screen?

  • The most underated attraction at the Magic Kingdom. Plus, it reminds us freedom isn't free. God bless America!

  • In this version of HoP the narration is by JD Hall. In 2009 with the addition of Barak Obama there is a new narrator - Morgan Freeman.

So yes, Morgan Freeman is the current narrator of this attraction but not the narrator if this version.

  • this is really cool i enjoyed every min of it thanks for posting

  • Morgan Freeman narrates this attraction

  • The narrator in this version is JD Hall. Morgan Freeman did not become the narrator of this attraction until 2009 (with the addition of the Barak Obama AA.)

  • Who is the narrator?

  • @sailorearth2007 Morgan Freeman narrates this video

  • The narrator in this version is JD Hall. Morgan Freeman did not become the narrator of this attraction until 2009 (with the addition of the Barak Obama AA.)

  • @ru42 Before it was Maya Angelou

  • does the robot obama have to use a teleprompter

  • Who else expected Bush to say "JUST KIDDING!! DONT MESS WITH TEXAS!" after his speech?

  • That's as funny as when my brother leaned over to me in 1999 and said, "Where's the Monica-Bot?" and imitated Clinton saying "Hold on folks, let me get Monica."

I have seen this show five times (1990, 1997, 1999, 2002, and 2007), and it was great to see all of the then-current presidents. I always found it eerie to see all of the other presidents nodding their heads and blinking, particularly George Washington!!!

  • they would have to carry me out of there, i would be laughing so hard!

  • I know, so cheesy XD

  • This is the best attraction in the Magic Kingdom (along with The Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain) This is always the first place I go when I go to Disney World.

  • He is now, they shut down the Hall of Presidents to add Barack Obama. I haven't seen him in this yet, but I will when I go back next summer.

  • They recently updated to include Obama.

  • I'm glad Bush got some work and he fits in so well with robots you can't tell that he's real. So nice.

  • This is da bomb!!!!

  • No not yet i guess, Its kinda old.

  • Oh no, the robot overlords are coming after all... Quick, head for the bunker!

No, but seriously, this is one of those things that you have to see, it's just so cool and lifelike.

  • lol

  • It's in Magic Kingdom in liberty square next Columbia Harbour House the ride it's self is across the christmas store in liberty square.

  • isnt this at Epcot too?

    In the city thing?

  • ROBOBAMA!

  • Its just like the real one, they are clones.

  • in about 500 hundred years, the bit where they name all the presidents is going to be...quite time consuming.

  • The voice of Ben Franklin is done by John Stephenson, who was Mr.Slate on the Flintstones

  • So have they made an Obama robot yet? Or are they still working on it?

oh & for anyone who wants to skip the movie part and watch the robots, they start introducing them around 10:10

  • um they don't have one out currently yet but it should be out sooner or later.

  • you know im sorry i messed up there is a president obama one search the video "obama hall of presidents" (should be the first one)

  • o ok thanks ^_^

  • Check the Related Videos, it's "Disney Hall Of Presidents update with Obama animatronic"

I like this more, the speech by Bush is much more inspiring!

  • i was in Florida 6 days ago, they have Obama there now, and they have updated the anmatronics. hope this helps :)

  • yes they made a obama robot

  • he is in the hall now :)

  • they should of put more animatronic time. over half the thing is video

  • omgosh i love how the presidents are so realistic they uncrossed their legs crossed their legs talked between them selves it was sooo cool

  • Speaking of the Animatronic's legs, did you know that, in particular, the Franklin Roosevelt figure is so realistic, that if you look closely, you can see the braces on his legs (FDR had polio in his legs)

  • When will someone post a video of the New version? Im really excited to see it (BTW, RU42, please don't take this video down, I still like some aspects of this version, and this is the only good video of the previous version on youtube)

  • DID YOU KNOW: Walt Disney World's Hall of Presidents is one of only 2 places in the whole United States where you can find a rug with the Seal of the President.

  • thats cool i didnt know

  • Its called the presidential seal. It was cool to see it, and they had to put t behind a circular gate.

  • i really like this show. its really nostalgic of the 1700s. It'd be kind of funny if they designed a National Treasure ride similair to this

  • not gonna lie, lincolns speech made me tear up. as a gay american I hope someday to be treated equal

  • @silenthk47 , how are you not ? You are given every right that anyone else has. If you feel persecuted in any way, it's not by the Gov't. Just because there are biggots out there in the public, they aren't stealing your rights.

  • @drquads When the 'Gov't' gives the right to marry to EVERY human being then will I not think your statement is full of shit.

  • @cirfrababy well let's just hope tha never happens. I coach ladies softball and am very good friends with many gay ppl. I just don't see same sex marriage as a valid thing. This is just my opinion, and like me, you are entitled to yours.

  • @silenthk47

Quit bringing attention to the fact that you're gay. Most of us don't give a hoot whether you're gay or not. Then you shall be free. You don't have to act different, just be yourself.

  • @rrussick You probably also think negoes shouldn't be so uppity.

  • Thanks for posting this one!

  • I like this George W better than the real one.

  • LOL!! Me too!!!

  • ah. more than one animatron. ... fine. but still. half the "ride" is a hyped-up patriotic ode to windows movie maker.

  • ... i thought all the prez's talked. so let me get this straight ... this awesome ride is actually a fifteen minute PBS documentary your history teacher would show you on a day he forgot to have a lesson plan for ... and then you get to listen to only one animatron talk. Really ...

  • This makes b proud to be an American I am gad this ws posted. May American stand for billon more years like are four father wanted.

  • fantastic! when i went it was december of 07 a little longer than this but maybe this video was cut short.loved it though! walt disney was the man.

  • Nope, this is 100% of the show; nothing has been cut! - _ RU

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • there doing a soft opening so they can shut it down at any time. but ya its officaly open july 1st

  • it already opened

  • it did i thought it would open the 29th

  • This is the best youtube post of the exhibit to date. It lacks the audience Boos the past year or so when W. spoke. In about a month the new exhibit will be opened with Obama. Yea!!!!!!

  • I had a dream about this place last night and they added the celebrites who ran for presdient, Jackson Colt, Steve Carcarass, and my friends Byron Riley and John Bergquist, Matt Dennison, Wesley Hicks and me

  • 5 years ago my ex and I took our daughter to Disneyworld for her 10th birthday, and I still remember her asking me if any of the presidents were real people. I said all robots Hon.

  • I can't believe that this will be closed when I go :( I'll have to wait until next time before I see Barack Obama.

  • Wow... a time to relax and get educated... nice...

    Oh, I have a question...

if I subscribe, will it be free?

I'm new to the whole youtube thing...

  • Subscribing is free. It just lets you know when I post a new video.

  • Guess what guys? They ARE putting Obama in right now! It was in the news "Disney has created an incredible simulation for the reopening of the iconic Hall of Presidents in the Magic Kingdom."

  • WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I know right? I tried to paste the article but it was too big hehe. I'm sure anyone can find plenty of articles about it on Google though. I wonder what they are gonna make him say or if maybe they'll change the background music to some rap or something lol That would be funny

  • play paint it black XD

  • This is always a good place to watch a good piece of history, relax and cool off from the hot weather.

  • They need 2 update this and put in Obama!

  • true dat

  • It really fascinates me how they sit down and stand up...

  • I used to just love this attraction. :) This too was a D Ticket attraction back in the day. Or was it a C Ticket? I can't remember now. But I loved it when Lincoln stood up and spoke.

  • I think animatronics are great. I know Disney was the first to do this and they have certainly come a long way.

  • Ahh the HoP. It may not be the most humorous attraction there, but I like it. And whoever does Washington's voice sounds very familiar....(as does Franklin's)

  • If I may please ask, please refrain from political commentaries. This site is about the UNITED States of America and a tribute to those who dare (and dared) to step up. - - Thanks - RU42

  • And I agree with you because it's HISTORICAL fact, yet sheeple are too blind/stupid to accept that fact. I can see people have given you the thumbs down, but in my opinion you deserve 100 thumbs up.

  • Maybe Obama should watch this instead of putting us down to other countries

  • there will be new obama speach as well as a gorgre washington speach

  • the same thing happens 2 me. it kinda pisses me off! but 2 tell the truth, had i been old enough 2 vote in our most recent election, i don't know who i would have voted 4..... my parents voted 4 McCain....but that's besides the point. im not a racist, never have been, and never will be. im just exercising my 1st amendment rights (freedom of speech)! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You think there'll be a Barack Obama Animatronic?

  • unless they close it, i don't see why not.

  • The Hall of Presidents is currently closed until July 1st, where there will be an animatronic of President Obama including a speech voiced by him.

  • As a side note: they do this every time a new president is elected. A new animatronic is placed, and the show follows the same routine:

    Introduction

    Speech from the current president

    Speech from Lincoln

Wich means for every new president that comes in, the old "current" gets retired and sits back in the rest of the crowd.

  • there is going to be one silly

  • I was at the magic kingdom in february and they had the hall closed to make way for a "new addition" to the hall. So to answer your question...yes there will be a Barack Obama Animatronic.

  • yup, they recently i believe that it was reopened but I'm not 100% sure.

  • I just checked, it's still closed. Looks like there may be more being done than just adding Barry O.

  • Yes It's closed until the 4th of July. It's re-opening then and I have a question. Do you think Barack Obama will be there or something...cause thats when I'm going with my family, as in I am arriving there on the 4th.

  • Possibly. A president's schedule is subject to change, so even if there are plans for him to be there, which I have no idea, a lot can happen between now and then.

  • Thanks. Your right. =)

  • Barack obama is going to be in the hall and will have a speaking role

  • ALL white ppl come from Europe

    NATIVE PRIDE

  • And perhaps it falls to us, This first generation of the Twenty-first century Americans, to say once and for all that no child, no race, no creed, no ethnic community, will ever again be left out of the American dream. Unless you live in Louisiana Then youre Ignored.

Way cool... Would I call it a "ride?" or an exhibit? The Likenesses are very realistic.

I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD THIS FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would call it a show. You dont move, nor is it a walk-through, so it is neither a ride or exhibit. But if have any measure of patriotism, it will likely be on the forefront by the time you leave that building, even if it only lasts for a little while you will look at things in a broad spectrum. Well worth the watch.

  • This is a true Disney masterpiece !!! I Love It !!!

All that enjoy freedom should really listen.

  • This Attraction Will Reopen Around the 4th of July. Obama Willl Speak and Bush will Not ( thank you )

  • God bless George W. Bush and God bless America!!

  • i can't wait for obama to show.

  • the audio animatronics sound bad and out-of-date, as expected

  • George Bush looks more human here than in real life.

  • Seeing a black man join this pantheon of past American presidents is akin to Armstrong's moon landing in '69 and the fall of the Berlin Wall in '89.

Having Obama as our new president is a very poignant moment in world history. My fellow Americans, our best days are ahead of us.

  • I haven't been to disney but this is so cool and they are all animotronics but if something goes wrong with the show all animotronics are shut down so they go back to there position. but it does look good

  • I love the details in the show. How you can see other Presidents moving and talking to each other in the background. What an excellent attraction.

  • I can't wait to see a Animatronic Barack!

  • does any body know when its going to come out

  • It is closed now and i do not think Disney has said when it is opening again

  • July 4, 2009

  • july-ish, i think.

    this summer surely.

  • Comment removed

  • It will re-open with Obama on July 4, 2009

  • omg i can't wait!

  • Happy 200th Birthday, President Lincoln, our greatest president.

America will forever be in your debt for what you did - preserved the Union and ended slavery. Your achievements led to one of the ultimate landmarks in American history - the election of the first African American president. It's no wonder that many people still look up to you for guidance and leadership.

  • Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura - 2012

  • Thank you so much for putting this on You Tube. I grew up with "The Art of Walt Disney" book and they had pictures of this attraction and just by chance I though of it the other day and thanks to you I get to see it!

  • you're gonna have to go back and get a new video...whenever they put obama up there.

  • Love the Disney publicity machine comments. Bland elevated to a high art.

  • There are so many things to look at that you could go see the show 100 times and not see it all!

  • If I may please ask, please refrain from political commentaries. This site is about the UNITED States of America and a tribute to those who dare (and dared) to step up. - - Thanks - RU42

  • They are adding Obama and he is going to have a speaking role. It will open on July 4th

  • They are not robots nor puppets. It's called Audio Animatronics.

  • Farewell to George W. Bush. He made mistakes but he is still a good man with good intentions.

    Bush's Successes:

    1. Kept nation safe since 9/11. No terrorist attack on U.S. since then.

    2. Liberated 50 million people in Afghanistan and Iraq. The famous shoe thrower would have been killed if he threw shoes at Saddam instead.

    3. Tax cuts helped to end the 2001 recession and we experienced uninterrupted economic growth before the recent Wall Street crisis.

    4. Fought against HIV/AIDS in Africa.

  • Oh my gosh I love how the others move as Lincoln is speaking..cool!!

  • i saw this..i love disneys robots they're amazing

  • Hey Now, there are some great men on that stage... not all of them... but show some resect! I can't waite to see Obama!

  • This is a GREAT attraction and really brings a tear to my eye (although not as much as the American Adventure at Epcot does) whenever I watch it.

True, this isn't a 'thrill' ride, but it sure does let you think and feel. It informs you of a little bit of the history of the United States of America.

  • If it's so boring to you, then why did you watch this?

  • Too bad "Great Moments with Mr. Abraham Lincoln" has been replaced by Steve Martin and Donald Duck.

Bring Mr. Lincoln back! Our greatest president is far more important than a lousy comedian and a talking duck who no one understands.

  • Abraham Lincoln would certainly be proud of America today for looking beyond skin color to elect our next president.

  • i went there it was soo crazyy! the animatronics were soo REAL

  • I wish I could see this, but it will be closed. I guess they are making robotic Obama. That would be cool. But it was a hard race and McCain deserves congrats as well.

  • Well it has to undergo an 8 month restoration, so after Obama goes into office people will have to wait 8 months to see him there.

  • wow i would love to see obama in this show. so wonderful it would be. people would be so impressed. disney always has a way of bringing the inner child out of you. i would love to go disney world one day. sad to say i have never been there.

  • PEOPLE: Congratulations are fine but please do not let this discussion area turn into any political debate for one side or another. The ride is about uniting and liberty. - - RU

  • Thank you for the great comment ru42. Everyone thinks the exact opposite of what you said.

  • I want to travel to Florida on July 4th 2009 to see the re-opening! I want to see Obama up there XD

  • wooot i can't wait im going to be the first to enter!

  • Soon Barack Obama will be in this show...Obama!

  • obama our 44th president FTW!

  • that would be just amazing to see that oh i can only imagine.

  • Some of those robots look down right creepy

Warren G Harding looks like the real thing

  • Is alot better in person.

  • for some reason i chuckled when he said bill clinton.

  • I've never seen this (my dad has) but I would love to see it. It look's just amazing.

  • i loved this, (because im an american history freak) but it doesnt beat accually going to washington dc

  • did one of the hecklers call lincoln "a young drink of water" at about 5:59?
