My next vid is longer...about 7 minutes. But it's the main vid in the series and a bit of a climax vid, so I think it fits. Maybe a little wordy at times, but it's hard to hike and think straight at the same time. :(
Thanks SOOO much for your willingness to help. ^__^
I'm maintaining a list of everyone interested, and I'll be emailing you around February next year. That's when the hype will start to truly build before the project begins. I really appreciate all your support!
i knew i was going to be jealous...& i am(please let me).no phones, nobody needing to speak with u for a few days, not needing to but anything,it is all sugui.
hope you got a chance to sip a few beers during your trip.
Don't be jealous - let's plan a trip together next time. ^_^
Someone mentioned YouTube camping trip -- sounds awesome to me. Maybe next Spring sometime.
I had one local "ji-beer" on this trip, but mostly drank sake. This area has really good and cheap sake. The sake in Niigata, Nagano, and Fukushima are unbeatable. Places with good rice and good water - the best spots for sake. :D
I slept in a tent for 3 nights and in a "cottage" one night. The next video will probably be in the cottage (like a Japanese Inn).
The gear...well, most of it was covered in the first vid. I also have a Coleman 1.5 person tent, a Coleman backpack, friend's sleeping bag, and little pieces here and there. If you can only get one thing, I recommend the Therm-a-rest NeoAir mat. Sleeping well beats anything, and you can use it to sleep comfortably anywhere, anytime. :D
Well its gonna take a few years before i have any time for that kind of stuff, planning to finish school and get a degree first... and then gonna go to japan for japense studies for a year or two
These short bits are working out fine and build anticipation for the next video. I find your exploring the world videos more interesting than the white-walled room videos. At first, I didn't pay much attention to your Caught Doin' Good project, but now I see that you are serious by attacking Mt. Bandai. Keep it up!
Each person I can win over to the project is a huge step forward! This is the kinda project that's really gonna need support from everyone the help get it out there. I'm really glad you could see how serious I am about this. I don't think I've ever been so serious about anything in my life.
Trust me - if I could make money for the trip by exploring the world rather than being in a white-walled room, I'd do it. ^^
5/5 man :-)

Woo! Go kick Bandai's ass!
How are you going with getting helpers for your project?
I think it's awesome that you're going to be living your dream, that in itself is going to inspire a lot of people. :)

Hehe - it took me a minute to understand.
You mean "dawn".
Ever seen the movie "From Dawn to Dusk"?
Dusk is the opposite - when the sun goes down.
I love dawn too! ^_^

Nothing like nature to suck out the poison of big city life. ^^
