Algalon has Hogger for a non combat pet.

I heard that when Algalon wipes a raid, he loots THEM and puts a screenshot up on his Website.

so u have to complete some hard modes and after u can go to him and have 1 hour of fight but ye its VERY HARD Encounter

i read you only have 1 hour from when you initially start the instance to kill him.

but that shouldnt be much of a problem for any guild that can even start his encounter, they could probably kill flame and XT in less then 20 minutes and get to him fast but id still rather have a way hard boss that takes hours of wiping for weeks over a kinda hard boss that you only have 30 mins to kill every week.

oh, i thought it was just the room after XT, opposite of the council. i didnt know you had to kill all watchers on hard mode too every lockout period, i thought it was just the one time for the quest itmes then you engage him next the next week.

He's a hard boss mode only with one hour encounter for a week raid lockout. You also get a realms first and a title for defeating him in a 25man (heroic).

His nickname is known as Algalon the Raid Destroyer given by Ghostcrawler as he feeds on your tears.

The thing that killed them was the red circle thing that looks like KT's red circle, the shammy or whoever that guy was had already moved out of the circle but they still all died. I'm guessing that the red circle has an extremely large radius of effect, but that isn't quite possible since you can't run to the other side of the room in 2-3 secs, so can it be that someone has to step inside the circle to...?

It may be a reverse void zone. "x" player takes damage over time while standing in the void zone. If there isn't someone standing in the circle - it explodes. It may even have a stacking debuff which cases you to rotate players.

form what i ahve seen form his abilities or at least the l;ist of them, i think people need to utilize his phase punch to take people out of being hit by his big bang attack. The names of his abilites might be worng i am using the wowwiki listing for them. But from what they do i think that might be some way to avoid his 120k aoe, ie th ebig bang attack.
