Don't u think we should even go further back to the first early church, the teachings of the apostles? I believe even reformers were tainted by teachings of Roman Catholic. Trinity doctrine, churchs named after men/doctrines, hierarchy system etc. are not in the Bible. The reformation took place only in part. The root of most important Catholic doctrines still survived through her daughters which are Protestant churches. No marvel that Protestants are going back to her mother.

OK, first of all, the Protestant Churches are in bed with the Pope. They are they harlot daughters who are following after her example. So yes, most Protestant Pastors are the daughters of Antichrist. But do not confuse Pastors with Priests. Priests forgive sins. Pastors do not (at least they are not supposed to). Read Hebrews 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. It tells you clear as day that Christ is our mediator, and he is ministering for us in the Heavenly Sanctuary.

The "falling away" of the Church was recognized in the falling away of the organized system, not the body of Christ. The organized system happened to be a "part" of the body of Christ, but it is not the same as the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is simply all those who are faithful. The Body of Christ, however, "continued" with those people who separated from the system.

You cannot separate the Body of Christ and the Church; they are one and the same. This was so in the 1st century. In the middle ages, protestants created splinter groups and called themselves part of the "body of Christ." This is illogical. The Body of Christ is ONE, in faith, in structure. It cannot be composed of many conflicting "churches".

You are correct forestking. But your problem is, you are viewing the body of Christ from a literalistic approach, and not a spiritual. The Jewish Nation was ordained of God, and He promised never to forsake them in Jer 31:35-37. Yet this prophecy was conditional, and Jesus said He would "take the kingdom and give it to another nation" (Matt 21:43) Israel did not cease--but it's nationalistic inheritance for carrying the keys of the gospel did. @Lysimachus78 You need both literal and spiritual listening so you can clearly understand good ecclesiology. On the other hand, you need reason as well. Certainly, the Bible speaks of the Church as the Body of Christ - one and the same. Literal and spiritual reading of scriptures will point to this reality. On the other hand, we have to be reasonable. The Church is ONE - one body, one belief. To believe otherwise would be unreasonable and would be against Logos.

I agree that the Church is ONE body, and of the same mind and of the same judgment. This certainly isn't realized in the Catholic Church. Every Catholic you talk to has different viewpoints on theological matters--and vastly different I might add. As I have already stated, the body of Christ continues through a spiritual line, a spiritual seed. Ecclesiastical lineage has no bearing on spiritual lineage. Christ's Church, I believe, continued through the Protestant movement.
