what year jd g are you looking for we have a 51 jd g that we are going to sell ,where are you from we live in michigan this tractor is allready set up for pulling my dad used to pull it but he passed away it has a power block in it.
We used to put water in the rear tires to add weight to the rear. You can use a mixture of anti-freeze as in your radiator if you do much driving in sub-freezing weather. Try that and I bet your "B" pulls even more. Watching this video brought back a lot of memories.
Do you ever go to tractor pulls with them? We started out using ours for plowing and dragging logs then tractor pulling got into everyones' heads and things have went nuts from there. Ours aren't the prettiest girls at the ball but pull good :D

I'm only 42, but I spent a lot of time on a couple different B's in my life. In Iowa. Both are gone now.
