Educated people who went to college know that slavery wasnt even that big of an issue in the civil war. Most southerners didnt own slaves and those who didnt were for abolishment. The issue of the civil war concentrated on taxes the north were imposing on the south to trade using northern ports. The south tried using their own ports but the north was starting mad shit. realtalk, yo.
