Originally called ECHO OF TERROR (1964) it failed to be sold. Go-go scenes & musical numbers were added & the title changed to PSYCHO A GO-GO (1965). Several years later scenes were added w/ John Carradine as a mad scientist who puts a chip into into the jewel thief making him crazed. Years later more scenes were added with Tommy Kirk and other actors & it was sold to TV as THE MAN WITH THE SYNTHETIC BRAIN and released to theaters as BLOOD OF GHASTLY HORROR.
@calvinjluther "A Go-Go" was just a phrase used a lot including movie titles at the time. Monster A Go-Go, Psycho A Go-Go, Winter A Go-Go etc...there was even a Roadrunner cartoon called Roadrunner a Go-Go. Any film company or movie could use the phrase. Mainly it came from niteclubs that featured go-go dancers and the club names would be followed by ...A-Go-Go to signify they were Go-Go clubs. Perhaps the most famous is Whiskey A Go-Go in Los Angeles which has been operating since 1964.
