In Fact, he's the only cast member to appear in the same role in every single official production of Rocky Horror up until at least the release of the film. He played Frank' in the original Royal Court Theater Upstairs production run, the Classic Cinema run, the American Roxy run, and in the film. Every other character, at some point, had at least two different actors play them.

Franks seems evil and manipulative, but by the end we have his sympathies. Humans are ants lost in time, space, and meaning.
