guys you need to get the idea of

You can run the 2 cards seperate.Using double boot.

Vista&xp: Vista- The gamers card i prefer 4870x2 u install it on here.

Then u boot xp and u install the other card.

Then u game on vista and edit on xp.

ummm...yes it might work caz i had xp, then upgraded to vista and i still had to install dx10 drivers for vista, and then when i booted back up into xp it uses my xp drivers... you have to try it your self though, i don't think it will work, but worth a shoot..

Yes, it will but to be safe go for 1200 watt so you don't have to upgrade your psu when upgrading video card(s), i7 is the best.. and wait a month and get 4 4890x2.. that's going to be my next upgrade.. but it is very expensive..:)

The card that has the VGA cable is the one that does the rendering. SLI is different casue it uses both but this isnt SLI

For 3d apps a workstation graphics card would be a massive benefit.

However CS3 wont use your graphics card...yet CS4 will.

Also look into specialized drivers for workstation cards. Both ATI and Nvidia make special drivers and renders for Autodesk products and other 3d programs.
