  • @Pr0w0nk he plays a JEW!

  • @thecopykidofthestarz Are you Jewish?

  • @klezmando No. =P

  • @thecopykidofthestarz So what does your comment mean, and why is Jew all in caps?

  • @klezmando the jewish steriotype is that Jews are very snobby when it comes to money.

  • @thecopykidofthestarz Do you believe this stereotype? Have you had direct experience of this?

  • @klezmando hahah. no. its really silly. but its bin around for ages.

  • @thecopykidofthestarz The reason I replied to you was that it seemed from the way you commented you believed the stereotype. Thanks for clearing it up.

  • Simply a stroke of genious!

  • Haha, I love what he is doing with his arms and legs when preparing the razor !

  • @chrisazarian This one was obviously not a silent film ;)

  • "To shave the face

    Or even a part

    Without its smart

    Require the heart

    Not just the flash

    It takes panache

It takes the passion for the art"

  • @hugh0221 Cool poem there!

  • Certified Intergalactic!

    aztán húzzál a VÉRBE!!

  • After seeing such a great scene and listening a fantastic music i cant believe there are people arguing here abour liszt and brahms.

  • do you really have nothing better to do than argue with random strangers on youtube commenting?

kinda pathetic if you ask me.

go on, have the last word if it means so much to you. but it would really be nice if you could clean up your grammar and such. showing that you know the language makes the insults so much more effective. :D

  • Ferenc Liszt borned to Doborja (Hungary, Austria-Hungary Monarchy) and died to Bayreuth (Austria, Austria- Hungary Monarchy). His mother tongue is the Hungarian.

He is the greatest romantican composer.

    Are more any question?

  • szena2001- According to Wikipedia, Bayreuth is a city in northern Bavaria, Germany, on the Red Main river in a valley between the Frankish Alb and the Fichtelgebirge. It is the capital of Upper Franconia and has a population of 73,048 citizens (2008).

  • you can tell that much from a comment on youtube? are you really that perceptive or are you just plain dumb and biased?

    screw off

and you should look carefully; i never said anything about your precious liszt, hungarian or not.

  • i don't know, what is the problem with ferenc liszt. he is from hungary and not from austria. he is born in the village doborjàn, today is this raiding in austria. but the time in this he is born, is this hungary and this say us, he is a hungarian!

  • ...

    o.O"

  • where are you from?

  • xaviqaz is right. The traditionalist Brahms even didn't agree with Liszt, who with Wagner was a componist of the "new kind of music" as they called themselveves. I'm from Bayreuth where Liszt and Wagner lived, I know that. Now, who's the fool? :-)

  • Insuperable

  • My favorite scene ever!

  • nowadays a scene like this would take the average movie star 20 days to shoot with a new camera angle every 2 seconds or less so that he only does 2 seconds at a time

  • incredible artist

  • haha i love this :)

  • YES, BRAHMS! (Liszt's better friend):

    THIS ARE THE MAGYARS !!!

  • Liszt was actually austrian. He didn´t even speak hungarian. And he wasn´t Brahms better friend but Wagner´s

  • ha ha ha very interesting and funny ...

  • They don't shave 'em like they used to.

  • One of the real great scenes in movie history, unforgettable! The play from the bemused 'victim' is great too.

  • wonderful! xD

  • I love this song, I love Chaplin. Love it all.

  • gracias youtube, gracias!

  • he was really giving that guy a shave using his skills he had when he was a barber in early 20th century england

  • Still one of the greatest movies of all time :)

  • such insane musical timing!

He did it all in one shot too.

  • yeah, that's really tough

  • read somewhere that he's a bad ass musician

  • hahaha love it

  • i can't listen to that song without laughing every time, thanks to Chaplin :)

I think i wanna be a barber now

    hehe

  • des is voll cooooool

  • Haha, great!

  • This is classic, i used to laugh myself to tears to this when i was a kid. I like the way all the bugs bunny musical skits are in the same style, but its even funnier when its real people!

  • Chaplin era un genio.....

  • Nice!

  • Ahaha! So great :D

  • Charlie is so awesome!

  • It's great, reminds me of tom & jerry

  • Maybe Tom and jerry reminds you to this scene, may not?

  • Brilliantly choreographed and lovely in its simple idea yet intricate movements. top grade stuff.

  • I heard that the music was added after the scene was filmed and by luck, the movements match up. Don't quote me on that, though.
