I thought the same thing of our venue, but they rocked it! They closed off the "close up" parking and converted the entire thing into a second venue with two stages side by side, vendor booths and a bunch of cool stuff. It was the coolest thing I'd seen in a while!

There wasn't a mosh pit on the main stage. There was a HUGE mosh pit during the different bands on the second and third stages. It was so sick! And yeah, my vids came out pretty sucky, but remember this video is just an overview or sampling of the entire .. almost 12 hour .. festival event. I ran out of disk space on my camera.

Oh yeah, plus, this was just my own viewpoint of the day. Every person will have their own highlights & favorite parts. I suggest everyone bring their cam and take as much footage as they can and post it. That'd be very cool.

Get this ... not only were they FREE, completely FREE, but they were FREE, ALL day! They were passing them out to everyone in line, and had a huge area you could go to and drink them inside the venue as well. You can grab em and stick em in a bag when it's crowded .. lmao! But, yeah, it was awesome!

Oh yeah, the merchandise was pretty nice. They had a couple shirts with everyone on it and even the guys trying to sell you cheap shirts in the parking lot had everyone on it.

There's an Official Program 2008 at some of the vendor booths you can get. Each band has a section in the program. We had Dragonforce autograph their pages. I can't remember who all had the signings, but none of the headliners did.

Yeah, the show was great! We got there around 1:00 pm and didn't get out of there until about 11:30 pm. No wonder Rockstar was giving unlimited, all day, free cans to everyone!
