hey i have had both, i ride my harley all over the US and never once have i replaced anything besides maint type stuff (tires, plugs, brakes and fluids) i grew up on hondas and kaws, they always seemed to have carb problems, or clutch/trans problems so i bought a harley and love it so much i now have 2. one of which i built from just browsing CL and ebay for a fraction of what it cost to buy one..
It's a rumble that resonates in a rider's soul, deep and steady, something that you feel as much as you hear. It's 45-degree, V-twin note is unmistakable; no other bike makes that sound. On a deserted back road or on a crowded city street, it's insistent roar demands attention and commands respect. It's the unmistakable sound of American Motorcycling: the sound of Harley Davidson.
So if you own a Japanese motorcycle, what kind of guy are you? Let me answer: a wannabe. You bought a bike from a company that wanted to be like something else. Harley-Davidson was the original. Bottom line. End of story
"Fuck you wannabe's" Hmm. Such command of the english language. Yes I ride a bike. Yes I like Harleys. No I don't have one. Why you ask? 'Cause I like to ride, not fix. I will go 250,000 miles on my Suzuki engine. Harley can't come close to that. Shit, they can't come close to 1/2 of that. Someday I will have a Harley, but when I have enough money to burn some.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! You all should do a sequel and see how much more blood can come out of my ears.....that was absolutely...lame....you should pay me for the time lost watching this video. next time put up a disclaimer!
@njwingz Harley's take money to ride, not heart. I built mine for $2000, and get much more attention than any sportster would. I like Harleys looks, & love the sounds, but the reliability is really lacking. If they wouldn't break down so much, I would look at getting one.
@sniper152 I don't think anyone realizes your comment is actually ridiculing the Harley Davidson, and the video? I did though, and give you a thumbs up not cause I agree, but because it was smooooth. ha ha.
I liked this thought it was cute - also I don't feel passionate about Harleys except i have a soft spot for christmas spirit
You Harley guys! That was some funny shit!

truly amazing. Just proves this quote:
A Harley Davidson is the most efficient way to turn gasoline into noise without the embarrassing by-product of horsepower.
