He's putting his fingerprints all over them. You always handle records by the edges, or the label and the edge like he's holding the acetate at 1:20.

When he picks up the colored vinyl, never hold a record like that. Fingerprints will damage the vinyl.

ummm in my opinion the fingerprints dont exactly effect the vinyl, more like CD's as the LASER cant go through the prints, vinyl uses a needle and plays into the grooves, so no fingerprints get in the way. =]

Yes they do. The oil from your fingers will dirty and permanently damage the vinyl, degrading the sound.
