If everyone was to eat and live at the levels found in first-world countries... well lets just say overpopulation would soon be a bigger problem than you can imagine. I cant seem to get my mind off my own son now (who is healthy) and it just sickens me that some people with kids his age and younger/older simply cannot obtain the simple things, like food, to properly care for their children...

The problem has by far nothing to do with availability, productivity, population figures or vegetarism, it is a result of the absurd hallucination called "property rights", and the insane asylum and its ever chanting followers is in charge, and you haven't even realized it.
I agree with Troy. We practice excess to the extreme here with all-you-can-eat buffets and supersized meal deals. If we were willing to sacrifice just a little, we could give these dying and hungry a chance to actually have a life. You could have been born into that situation too... just the luck of the draw.
