Eddie delivers perhaps the most perfect tribute to a near perfect song that did not get the mainstream attention it so deserves! Amazing song.....very fitting tribute!
@CecisAndrade Dude!! I came here to write the same thing. It gives me chills after finding out the story behind it. Only a true human can feel these kinds of vibes.
@seans63lemansSD Regardless, finally able to see TWENTY not in a theater. The woman is out. I'm almost done with a 12'er. Playing along on the acoustic. One of the best things ever.
Just watched the film...wow. Was reminiscing how I kinda liked PJ but didn't HEAR them back then (not my usual genre). Although I was digging the whole movie, this is the one that knocked me over. Didn't know the history...
Check the "tree", many came and went from Skin Yard through Melvins, MLB,Malfunkshun, Green River, Soundgarden (pretty sure Matt Cameron played in a few of these bands, which led to SoundGarden where he played as well...)... some/most of which intertwined deeply.... At one point or another they all interacted and played in one group or another.... ;) Unless you were in one of those groups, I'll point you to that "Tree"! Thanks for the video posting! Love the "old" music...
@adrianbeans huh? purty sure its pearl jam live buddy, but I wish it was Mother Love Bone. Too bad Andy passed far too early. im glad to see people dont forget about him or his music.
@tiemyshoes92 It's horrible that he died so young, but in terms of music taste I'd prefer Pearl Jam to be around than Mother Love Bone, though they were good.
Classic, one of my most prized favorite songs ever. The movie Singles made me fall inlove with my husband cuz he had great taste in music. And it was a sad love story..This sounds amazing.
I dated someone back in the day who LOVED Mother Love Bone.... needless to say, this song has stuck with me for the last 20+ years. Such a great thing to see Pearl Jam cover it .... and they did it GREAT!!
i was inspired to listen to this tribute\cover of Mother Love Bones ''Crown of Thorns'' after discovering their song ''Man of Golden Words''which inspired me to write, love and appreciate music more than I already do.If you appreciate music and lyrics you should check it out.Music truly is a Higher Power and gift to us all.

The reason he knows Andy would have loved it.Is because Andy was sittin on his shoulder during this performance.

The ONE person that disliked this has absolutely no taste for true, raw music. And probably has no soul either.
