Refill kits are hit and miss. The problem is you aren't refilling under a vacuum so the foam inside doesn't properly absorb and suspend the ink. Also, if it's run empty it won't prime and won't work. I just buy remanufactured ink and toner at the refillmyink website because it's cheap and 100% guaranteed. Then I donate the empty to my kid's school. Schools and churches do fund raisers by collecting them.
@BriansVideoHobby please stop spamming videos with this i have seen your same comment on quite few videos and i am obligated to flag you for spam so i have
@TheChickenrun3 So now telling people the truth is spam? The truth is simple, original ink cartridges are filled under vacuum for a reason. You can't get the quality from a hand filled cartridge and who knows what quality of ink you are using. If all you print is crap for the file or garbage, go for it, otherwise, use a quality remanufacturer.
Fantastic Video, but dont forget once you have put the cartridges back into your printer, run the cleaning mode 2-3 times as some printers will display "replace ink" if you dont run the cleaning mode.
Yes replacement cartridge's are easier but why throw LOADS of your money away as it only takes a few minutes to refill each cartridge & a few minutes for a scub up.
Good video, as always, but so much work and preps, almost like surgery procedures. Sounds messy and time consuming to me. If you want to save big money and get great ink fast, buy from SPOT4INK DOT COM. I Do. Check it out today! NO SHIPPING COSTS EVER. It is simply great and simple to do. The cartridge comes in the mail, you take it and pop it in your printer, (without rubber gloves), and you are good to go. Much easier, at least for me and maybe for you too.
