It is a chance for the 'Actors/Actresses' to re-unite together. Larry David didn't want a re-union based on the characters, he wanted it based on the people who play the characters. The comedy was still Curb Your Enthusiasm comedy, just a little Seinfeld in it, to spice the finale up. It wasn;t a direct Seinfeld Re-union.

Now, I may be wrong and if anyone thinks I am please inform me :). (That isn't sarcasm by the way)
