  • @garthac thanks for the advice man

  • Nice, Goooooooooooodd

  • thanks, i'm glad you liked it.

yest there are record players available in the market, there are also models that you could connect directly to your pc via usb port so you could digitize your records.

  • Nice video man by the way could I still buy a record player today?

  • アナログレコード最高!

    心にしみる音質!

    現代のデジタル音源は感動がない!

  • Hi huq4ej, could I request for an English translation of your comment?

    thanks.

  • Is this a turntable?

  • yes, i played the record on my pioneer pl-5 turntable.

  • Oh I See, another question, what is the difference between modern vinyl records produced now and those in the past?

  • basically the only difference is the way they do the actual recording in the studios which is done much in digital format these days but the...

  • ....actual cutting (analog convertion) and pressing of the vinyls are the same not mentioning the fact that they are bit more expensive. audiophiles around the world spend much purchasing vinyl issues of newly recorded albums and re-issues of old recordings. most collectors scout for old records that are still in good condition from trift shops to flee markets.

  • Oh I see, thanks a lot for these information!

  • how old are you anyway if i may i ask?

why not start your own record collection? the technology has been around for some 150 years now compare to cd which is only 30 yrs old. imagine the bulk recorded audio materials on vynil, not even 1/4th of it has been converted to digital format. the nice part of having a record collection is being proud you own an original (and historical if its a bit older).

  • I am 15, by the way, do nowadays turntables play disk using the needle?

  • unfortunately turntables do not play cd's. since the 50's high end turntables use polished industrial diamond needles which are shaped to a precise size to track the modern micro groove records. for older records from the late 40's and beyond, manufacturers still produce diamond needles (or "stylus")

  • Then do your turntable uses needle?

  • yes... my turntable uses something called a phono pick-up which has a diamond stylus (or needle). well my turntable is fairly new. i bought it around 1989 but the big hifi manufacturers like technics, neumark and vestrax still manufactures turntables. there are a few manufacturer that produce turntables which cost more than my car and these are german made pieces of precision engineered turntables.

  • ...all turntables use a needle but most modern turntables use a diamond stylus or needle.

  • Oh I see

  • Is this a turntable?
