@666nargarothfreak666 I investigated this problem before and have found the solution. On the doom 3 main menu press ctrl+alt+~ to bring up the console and type the following:

r_mode -1

r_customheight 1080

r_customwidth 1920

r_aspectratio 1

vid_restart

if done correctly, doom 3 should be operating at full HD 1080p.

I have the steam version, it works fine when I add the mod to the startup commandline. One could always try to get a retail disc copy and use the steam cdkey to install, worth a shot.

The only problem I have with this mod is, the A.I are wonky in some of the cut scenes and the IMP that walks around the glass towards the beginning of the game follows your backwards and forward steps. Originally he walked around the glass to come get you. The A.I cut scene where Betruger and the Sergeant are not able to access a network on this computer, they walk out running in circles until they finally leave the room exit. Other than that, this is very nicely done.

I have this working with steam. The only problems I have with this is that I can't overwrite save files.

anyone trying get mods on the steam version go to steam/steamapps/common/doom3 and just install how you would with the normal version, your doom 3 folder is just in a different location, installing the mod should work just the same as if you got the normal version

I have played it and the graphics slows down the game, I have to disable the bloom and other things but is crazy this mod :P

Can you do another mod without the graphics?

If your using the Steam version I cannot help you because I do not use the steam version. I do know for a fact that some people are using the steam version and play my mod without a hitch. I am sorry but I cannot help you.

hey! i'm using an ATI card. tried disabling catalyst AI and even turning CCC comletely off. still the game crashes when loading the mod :(

I'm having some big problems with making this mod work at all. I followed the instructions and it shows up in the mods menu, but when i try to load it the game crashes. Catalyst AI is off and i'm using the Steam version of the game. Any help would be appreciated.

Does this mod work with 1.3.1 Doom 3? I did everything right and when I select mod and load it game keeps loading and Doom 3 has stopped working... I'm using windows 7 home premium...

@ArnuxsGaming If you are using an ATI GPU make sure catalyst AI is turned off. This should help. Let me know.

@johncrystal00 I have Ati radeon HD 6870... I have no Idea what is AI or how to find it... The mod crashes at initializing menus... Original Doom 3 runs fine... Couldn't find how to disable ai could you please help me with that?

@johncrystal00 Ok I did some serious googling and found a way how to manually disable AI. I disabled it, restarted my pc and still no luck... Tried few other mods with Ai on and they work but there are some other issues with them besides I want this mod... Any suggestions?

@Bwe4Fun -- Perfected Doom 3 uses Bloom. I didn't want to use HDR because it uses more system resources because of all the extra Particle FX that my mod uses.
