  • Garfeild touches me.

  • Please show the court where he touched you, on this teddy bear.

  • hahahahahahha

  • Jon knows the truth.

  • Garfield is a liar.

  • i ordered a lamp with my haunted hamburger

  • How does Jon know the teddy bear didn't do it?

  • i wonder if jim davis has seen any of these. he would probably shit enough bricks to build a house.

  • I think Jim Davis himself wouldn't mind too much. He actually likes the comic "Garfield Minus Garfield".

Still, the lawyers at Paws Inc might be a bit less accepting.

  • Hi SK.

  • jon knows the truth

  • Garfield is a liar.

  • Lying is not a crime FOR CATS

  • Better to be a cat.

  • I think Jon did not appreciate being lied to.

  • Wow, Garfield comics are ridiculously unfunny.

    This was good though.

    :]

  • Only through you can I stand Garfield anymore <3

    Hilarious as usual, nice job.

  • lonely

  • FOR CATS

  • JON KNOWS THE TRUTH

  • When Garfield touches a teddy bear's ears, that means he's lying.

  • XD

this comment is full of win

  • When you actually see these strips acted out, they're so ridiculous and unfunny that you can't help but laugh.

  • I just laughed so damn hard.

From the same folks who brought you the sitcom "Jihad!"

  • I have no idea why these videos are so fucking awesome, but it certainly makes up for the Garfield strip not being funny.

  • Nothing makes me happier than these videos.

  • These videos make me feel like I've woken up in a strange bed with an ugly unknown man, the cheap beer shits, and a massive hangover. They're a great substitute for my social life!

  • Does anyone know if this is supposed to make fun or tribute Jim Davis's work? Because I think it exploits his lack of creativity, which I love.

  • Yeah, they're ridiculing it. It's the most explicitly portrayed in the previous video, when the player is trying to access Jim's "Skills" in Final Fantasy.

    Anyways. Hilarious videos!

  • An innocent fern is ruthlessly knocked from the windowsill and an poor, defenseless, innocent teddy bear shoulders the blame. I have - officially from this day forth with none of the holds barred and with pedal put to the metal letting the machine speak and Jumpin' Jack Flash "knowing this much is true" is takin' it to the limit and to the streets - decided that I will no longer fill my head with the antics of that rust-colored bastard Garfield.

  • Good for you.

  • I was going to post a comment explaining the comic down to minute detail like I usually do, but I see not much else is needed by way of that. So I'll just give your comment another thumbs-up.

  • Whilst I thank thou kindly for the thumbs up, I must humbly defer to the great Jim B. Davis, i.e. creator of the Garfield comic strip, for bringing forth the most wholesome and decent (albeit tongue-in-cheek) entertainment the world has ever witnessed. Mr. Davis makes Walt Disney look like Genghis Khan.

  • How could anyone not think that this video is a work of genius.

  • ........Your posts are so full of pretentiousness that I refuse to believe you're not trolling.

  • If you call Davis' work "shitty", you clearly don't get Lasagna Cat. Look at the video info. It says "Jim Davis tribute", not "Jim Davis parody", right? Right. Lasagna Cat is a tribute to the beautiful, deep tapestry of emotions "Garfield" is. If you don't understand that, please stop watching these videos, as you quite clearly lack the intellect required to fully understand them.

    Thank you.

  • ..."tribute"? Nah. Satire. Go look at the Lasagna Cat with the Final Fantasy tribute. At the end he knocks on Jim Davis for having no "skills". There are numerous other bashes on him throughout all of these, if you really think it's a tribute, methinks you it is YOU who lacks the intellect to understand them.

It's not even his "work" anymore, you twat. Jim Davis hasn't drawn a strip in years, he gets other people to do it.

  • Oh, MessyPaint. I pity you for not understanding the great work of Jim Davis, and the way Lasagna Cat pays tribute to it. My guess is that you are too young and foolish to fully understand the works of one of one the greatest writers since Shakespeare, as you are too busy reflecting upon the fact that Lasagna Cat is, to the untrained eye, a parody, to grasp the amazing, revolutionary messages of "Garfield". Jim Davis is to comic strips what John Coltrane was to jazz. What T.S. Eliot was to poetr

  • From that post, I can't tell if you are sarcastic or if you really ment to post a paragraph about Jim the God.

If Lasagna Cat is to phrasing Davis then a Grasshopper is to a grilled cheese sandwich.

  • "Jim Davis is to comic strips what John Coltrane was to jazz." HAHAHAHAHA that made me laugh so much, your a funny man!

  • @SomethingRules 10/7 troll

  • @SomethingRules

    I pray that you're trolling.

  • i love jon. hes a hottie.

  • you really shouldn't fuck with his fern...

  • Man Davis went all Tolstoy on us!

  • im so glad someone took davis' really shitty strips and made some use out of them

  • Lying isn't a crime.

  • ....for CATS!

  • Jokes are funny, I like jokes.

  • I like laughing, it is pleasant.

  • Ahahahaha

  • Garfield tells a lie, and Jon breaks the fourth wall.

  • Oh god you're right.

  • I can't stand that last pannel. It's so smug and annoying. You get such an impression that Jim Davis was like "i'm such an intellectual, ill show everyone what an snobby prick i am by using the thesaurus. then everyone will think that i'm smart."

  • HAHA that's EXACTLY what it sounds like.

  • I'm thinking its because in the late 70s/early 80s people actually thought the New Yorker strips were hilarious and they had no internets to make them dumb.

  • hahahaaah, you have won again.

  • Jim Davis > Oscar Wilde.

  • Garfield is a liar.

  • I'm surprised no one complained about the song not being properly credited to P.M. Dawn, since everyone knows they wrote it and Spandau Ballet sampled it 10 years earlier.

  • You are kidding right? P.M. Dawn was a shitty rap group who ripped off Spandau Ballet for the retarded song "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss" The song was credited properly in the video.

  • I'm stupid. I just re-read your comment, and I'm so sorry.

  • one of the best lasagna cats///

  • it's amazing how you you can remember these things. sweet.

  • I remember that strip.

  • Do not let Garfield lead you into temptation.

    Only Jon knows the truth.

  • Please people...Jon Knows the truth...

  • You're really annoying, kid!

In the strip it is visible that he's pointing, the actor just does a lazy job at it.

Also Garfield can only communicate with Jon through gestures, he cannot speak to him verbally.

  • as stated before in the comic he POINTS at the damn bear.

Now be a good monkey and go back into your corner eating your banana. Monkeys should not have access to a keyboard.

    "boom" indeed.

  • Acaully, he pointed to his teddy bear, saying he did it. I get it, do you?

  • He was pointing to his teddy bear (Pooky), and by doing so he stated that he (Pooky) knocked the fern off the window sill. I win bitch.

  • Didnt you noticed how John said "His lying to to me blah blah blah?" Means that Garfield had indeed answered his question.

  • You just repeated what you had said earlier, besides, Garfield had answered John's question, the discription states that.

  • Eww, shit fell from the window?

  • gross!

  • Isnt it?

  • I love the music tributes at end of each video - esp when it has 80s music!

  • So you are saying that Garfield is a cat that lies to John about knocking his fern off the window sill?

  • Wtf...

  • Lying isn't a crime... FOR CATS.

  • some strang people here i feel like im in bizzro world

  • Welcome to the internet.

  • The contempt Garfield has for his owners intelligence fills me with joy

  • cats are jerks! :S

  • Garfield is a cat that lies to John about knocking his fern off the window sill.

  • Garfield, why do you lie to Jon?

  • Garfield is a cat that lies to John about knocking his fern off the window sill.

  • Garfield is a cat that lies to John about knocking his fern off the windowsill

  • Simply amazing. Let me have your babies.

  • Wow, just, wow. These are great. Not Jim Davis great, but almost.

  • Garfield? A funny comic? Are you sure you aren't confusing it with Lio?

  • wow, you guys are about as dense as jim davis. ever heard of sarcasm?

btw. this is amazing. thank you!

  • You sir are my new internet hero.
