Thank you Ingrid for posting this video! I use to have a severe case of acne and acne scars and always dreaded going to school because of showing my face to the world. Now, I still have scars, but they aren't as bad as they use to be, and are actually really clearing up. I found the courage years ago to go out as me and not care what other people think or might think. I wish I could have seen this video years ago, but glad to see I was not alone. So thank you! ^.^

I'm sixteen and I feel the same way about makeup. I love the way I look, whether I have makeup on or not. I wear makeup because it's so much fun, I just like applying it because it's like a fun challenge. I love applying it and I would apply a whole bunch just because it's fun, but I don't because that would look awful and I like the way I look naturally. Your video inspired me to keep up this mind set & to work harder on my confidence bc I'm still kind of awkard around strangers. :P oh well :)
You are such an inspiring person. I lost my grandmother whom I was extremely close to and a few years later she got diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. She couldn't even remember my name. You are so relateable and we are so much alike. I have learned so much from you and I learned that self confidence is key in life. Why do ppl have to explain Themselves to others herefter on youtube when they have no make up on? It is normal whether ur are pretty without make up or not. It is not a big deal to not have any make up on! It sounds weird to me when I read comments like "oh u have no make up on" that is so brave bla bla bla.. Why is it a Big deal? I never use to walk out my house without makeup or stay the night at friend's house incase they saw my naked face, i use to have terrible acne and use to think i should be shut away incase people thought i looked ugly without my makeup.. but now because of you ingrid and others on youtube i've overcome this shame and feel yeah i have no makeup and acne but you know what i'm ok ;) xx

She is a wonderful woman who talks about of facing lifes obstacles head on and so funny! I recommend it to all my girlfriends~We were created to shine:) beautifully and uniquely<3

Okaaay, so.... yeah, it's true, we don't actually have to wear make-up all the time, every single day, it's great to go out without make up, and just don't care about - what people think, what do i look like.... BUT...
When you come to the class and everyone look at you and say "eeew girl, you are so ugly, you are so fu****g disgusting looking today, you are ugly b*tch.." and than you hear it EVERY DAY. It brings you down.... and you are just insecure with going out without makeup. Trust me.

I never use to walk out my house without makeup or stay the night at friend's house incase they saw my naked face, i use to have terrible acne and use to think i should be shut away incase people thought i looked ugly without my makeup.. but now because of you ingrid and others on youtube i've overcome this shame and feel yeah i have no makeup and acne but you know what i'm ok ;) xx

I needed to hear this (not just because of my physical insecurities and I never wear make up so...lol). Thanks for posting this. It was more like a reminder since at 19 I lost my father too and I feel the exact same way you do. It gives you perspective and makes you realize what's really important in life and it makes you stronger for it. Sadly, I still take some things for granted. omg you're amazing! i never wear makeup.actually i always wanted to as a teenager..but my mom and dad never let me. i used to be so mad at them. but hey it actually made me more secure about myself..i'm 20 now and i know lots of girls who wouldn't step out of the house without makeup...but i actually wear makeup only for fun! like nights out etc
