當初台灣上映本片的時候似乎是因為片頭王者基多拉沉在海裡那段就­很隨便的給牠取了大水怪這個新名字。

嘛！反正哥吉拉都被當時片商叫成大恐龍、大怪獸了，再多一隻大水­怪也無妨。
