I think that they should have this rally in south america (argentina and chile) because its magnificent BUT just call it for what it is, call it rally andes or something, and please have the rally dakar back to africa where it should never have left... as far as safety goes, well really think about it, when was it ever safe ? there was always the danger coming from people as much (or even worse) as the environment. It's still a deal with the devil either way no matter where you run it.

Te podes morir tranquilamente de un edema pulmonar dependiendo de cual sea y la rapidez con la que se lo atienda.
Es liquido en los pulmones que pueden ser complicaciones de un ataque cardiaco. Tirado y solo en el medio de la nada...no parece que tengas mucha chance de ser atendido rapido. Puede ser una de las causas por las que opto por apretar el boton de emergencia. AL sentir la dificultad de respirar.

Tal vez tenga un efecto directo pequeño en los lugares que pasan, pero a la larga me parece que es beneficioso.
