hey i already did it but it says to conect to itunes like when its in recovery mode but the backround is purple instead of black and i cant do nothing with it i tryed to restore it to its normal mode but it says error and i can do anything else plz help

I have the same problem too.

& its still isn't jailbroken.

But to get it back to normal :

1. turn off ipod, hold the sleep button, until the slide appears, then slide to turn off.

2. hold the home button.

3. while still holding home connect the ipod to the computer, the itunes icon should appear with a cable and arrow.

One is a beta the other is the official firmware. The bigger one is the official one.

Hey,

Icy and Cydia do the same thing but they aren't run by the same people so you can't mix sources with them. If you jailbreak the Official 3.0 firmware then you can get Cydia also.

there is no jailbreak for 3.0 stable as of yet. supposedly one will come out this friday.

just go back and try to re-download them again from the apps store it will prompt for pw put yours in and it will say u paid for it already and wont charge u to put it on your phone again

you will need to go into iTunes on your computer and make sure that you are signed in with the account that you bought all of your apps with. Once you have, then click check for purchases under store.

You can only get signal if you use a legitimate carrier according to where you live e.g USA - AT&T, UK - O2-UK.

You will no longer be able to use the Yellowsn0w patch.

There is no direct link. It is a sendspace link which you can then click the link at the bottom of the sendspace page which then directs you to the firmware. Use firefox to download, not safari.

hey u can get the quickpwn 3.0 on mac...just go to google and download darwin...it allows u to open .exe files on a mac...than download the quickpwn in his description and wallah =)
