and he still has contacts with his friends in the SAS and most are still english the scottish thing is just made up due to stero-types.

I think the part I would really struggle with during Selection is when they tell you something, like a grid reference, only once and you are just expected to remember it. I think being sleep-deprived, very fatigued and under a lot of stress, it would just be hard to remember shit and keep everything straight in my head when the body is being subjected to so much stress.
