  • 2:56 Listen carefully to the buzzer of the fighter's car.

  • What a hypocracy! When a human baby is hurt, we cry - yet we destroy everyday thousands of animal babies and do not care. Can't stand humans! Can NOT stand them.

  • Old man deserved the kicking.

  • We have energy sources that the "black ops" have. There are technologies out there already. owned by the oil companies that would put them out of business. What's the best way to control a population? Fear. Lots of it. Good job with this crap. Made a lot of people 1) Blame the Americans and 2) Fear the future. Good job.

  • @bigdanbear hahahaha yeah keep praying idiot

  • wow 2016 more like 2008-2012

  • 5:41 kid riding a bike. The smartest character in this entire show.

  • Holy smoke...I just realized that the actress playing Jess's mother was Trillian in the BBC TV adaptation of "The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy!" It's the same voice...I was wondering why she sounded familiar!

  • Oh yea lets not forget the bp oil spill in the gulf remember that? First of all there was a foreign

country's oil rig on usa soil. I think that is wrong in so many levels by the way. Does anybody have any idea how much oil just floated away? The oil company didn't seem to care did they.

I have 2 questions. #1 how much oil floated away? #2 Why was a foreign oil company drilling on our turf? We are still the united states and do not belong to the uk if thats the case then it is time.

  • Its just common sense. This earth is massive I have been around alot of it so it stands to reason. You believe what you want. And I will believe what I want. Remember this, name me one resource that we have run out of. Any thing you can think of.

  • I liked the story but thats about it. We are not running out of oil thats a bunch of crap.

Lets see 1890's till 2012 lots of oil. Man can not use what the planet produces. There are still oil fields we have not found yet. Oh and during the movie what about austrailia, africa, south america, ussr, antartica. I say if you want to live without oil go ahead I am not ready been thru this crap before. If I could drill in my own backyard I would. Imagine getting a barrel every 2 days. Day after day.

  • @Channellock12 How do you know there are lots more oil fields if we haven't found them to account for them?

  • @DeanoProductionsTM Fields get discovered often, Kazakhstan has discovered 2 large fields in the last 20 years and they are just now beginning to drill. Why do you think Tony Blair spends so much time in Kazakhstan? The deep ocean has never really been explored, then there is places like Siberia, the Stans, China, Mongolia that also need to be more thoroughly. Natural gas(the vapor, not crude) literally gets discovered all the time but it's harder to get out

  • @lukkyluciano Kk. Saying large doesn't mean much to me in comparison to what we consume etc etc. How challenging is deep ocean exploration? Also what about rates of getting out the harder-to-get-out stuff compared to rate of consumption? There could be significant consequences as a result of a lack of the resources to fulfill all we want to do, even if those resources are almost just as numberous as a few years before, simply because we cant get it out quick enough.

  • The next age after the end of oil will be the Dark ages.

  • @LtSgt5 We've done it before though when the Romans left.

  • that new age is the age of hemp. hemp is a fully self sustainable enviromental friendly way of meeting the worlds energy needs

  • @100PercentTHCfilms There is a very low chance that the world will adopt hemp as a fuel source. I understand that hemp is a decent way to get fuel, however hemp is like a taboo for many countries.

  • @LtSgt5 lots of countrys have already adopted hemp in some form, since you cannot get high from the hemp strains of cannabis, but the US is one of the only countrys not to mess with it, in fact the US was the first country to outlaw hemp and cannabis as a pretext to arrest immigrents. thats true. and isnt wat this country stands for, George washington himself used hemp and had 400 acres of it growing on his property it was used for rope, clothing many things.

  • @100PercentTHCfilms

I wonder how many people realize the Declaration of Independence was written on paper made out of hemp. The only reason it's illegal in the states is because of corporate greed from the logging industries and those from the pharmaceutical industries, and eventually the oil barons because medicine indirectly comes from oil.

  • @100PercentTHCfilms stfu. Not a snowflakes chance in hell of hemp taking over from oil you nut.

  • @troglodyte2084 do the fucking research, they have already produced cars ran off hemp, and one of henry fords first cars was deigned to run off hemp, Now you just hush up and do your research instead of being a good sheeple. you are the nutt my friend.

  • @troglodyte2084 And In some places on the globe they make buildings out of hemp crete do your fucking research on youtube or google or in some good old fashioned books, either way do your fucking research dont be a corporate idiot

  • There are so many hypocrites on this comment thread. The ones who are pointing the finger really need to look at themselves and what they do. Think about it! You used a computer or mobile device to search for this video and comment. What did it take to create such a device? Who bought it for you to use (if you're in a library)? All good things come to an end and it's your responsibility to act civilized about it. I've accepted the fact I will be using my bike. HELL NO I don't like it but what c

  • @SkyDawnandSun Oil is in your tyres lol

  • so what? we're just gonna play the blame game like the rest of the world is instead of fixing our problems?

  • she look like Sarah Palin

  • Dear Women,

Thank you for overpopulating the world, creating a demand that outstrips supply. We all now get to live in an increasing depressed, crowded world with decreasing standards of living,

    Yours,

    -Mark

  • @mycatisromeo dont just blame a women, you need a man to, to make another life,

you should have studied sex education better at school, then you would have known this,

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSlapdown What are you complaining about?

  • @davidhaythornthwaite Name one man who will actively PURSUE having a baby - there are very few. 99% of births, the women comes up to the man one day and says, 'I'm pregnant, we're having a baby." She NEVER gives the man a say in the matter. And VERY few women will ever go through with an abortion. And if you're a man, you have to agree with HER choice to have a baby, or else she will leave you for trying to convince her otherwise.

  • @mycatisromeo Oooooh you obviously said that to get some kind of reaction! Vert funny

  • @anatoriac So did I

  • @mycatisromeo Yeah and the dumb fukkin bitches will have every animal in the world killed and skinned for their make up and furs lol

  • we need to get crude priced off of the USD. the more consumption and easy credit and money printing, more oil will be consumed and eventually deplete our reserves. this is why we should of stayed on a gold standard which would of regulated rate of human growth and consumption instead we have a unlimited credit card of credit to buy up all the fuel is left

  • cough coal fuel

  • When a Saudi Oil minister says that were fucked I think we should all listen.

  • I Just watched all 6 parts ! what a load of Shiiiite ! Iran has the huge oil and gas field , saudi ariabia has another 400 billion reserves of oil underneath the sands , russia got untapped oil fields , Right now thiers not enough oil demand to open these oil reserves up ! Usa oil comsumption has fallen to 18 million barrels from 20 , indonesia has moved onto bio fuel and so has brazil , saudi got more oil stored in one super storage tank than all the oil in the USA .

  • @zakaslam1 very true and they believe that there may be up to 1.6 trillion barrels in north canada!

  • @zakaslam1 Your funny... it that was the case then why the fuck are price so high? they should be much lower. hahaha thats ok keeping thinking that this will never happen, and I'll keep thinking that retards like you are in decline.

  • @NewUser21111 because oil at the pump is so heavily tax you retard ! companies want to make huge profits and so do goverments , its so cheap to fill a car up in other countries except here ,wake retard !

  • @zakaslam1 hahaha like I said before, "your funny". You don't see the bigger picture. Oil powers everything!! our farms, transportation, consumer goods, EVERYTHING!!! You only think about what goes in your gas tank! We will never run out of Oil but we are running out of the cheap easy to get oil. The tar sands in Canada will not save us and Iran and Saudi Arabia are in decline. Do some fucking research before you make stupid comments for the rest of the world to see, RETARD!!!!!

  • @NewUser21111 I fucking did you idiot , do you think i just made it up ? let me tell you something there is 6 super tankers full of oil in the persian gulf just sitting there waiting for the price to rise before they sell , its all about profit ! not shortage ,

  • @NewUser21111 dude i went to the CIA world fact book there is about 267 billion gallons in Saudi Arabia alone we will not run out until 2050

  • @NewUser21111 dude i went to the CIA world fact book there is about 267 billion gallons in Saudi Arabia alone we will not run out until 2050 .

  • @gergar121

They are lying ... they haven't changed that number fin decades.

The reason for that number is simply because OPEC determines how much oil you can pump based on your reserves. For that reason all OPEC nations have all drastically overstated their reserves.

  • And when economy is on the bottom of the pit hole, and people pretty much tearing each other apart, oil companies will suddenly jump out flowering and saying "We have discovered the new and alternative energy!". Sure you do! Already discovered it just hidden it until your wallet is at critical level! Two faced greedy oligarchies!!!!!!!!

  • It's 2012 and Brent Crude is at $111bbl.

The scenario plays out in front of our eyes - and we don't have an alternative.

All of the world's great civilisations have ceased when a commodity runs out (is depleted). Water was the big one in South America. Now North America and the Western World has already become caught up in a downward spiral because we are reaching 'peak oil'. Look at what happened in 2008 when Crude hit $147bbl.

  • Solar panels will(or should if long term trends continue) be as cheap as coal by 2020 or so. According to scininific American

  • @MrJero85 - It won't run you car nor will they produce enough electricity to take the pressure off oil and gas.

  • Never fear, hydrox is here.

I find if there is ANY danger of running out of oil what so ever, oil companies themselves would be looking for ways to stretch their game to the max.

That's where hydrogen comes in. Electrolysis of water.

  • @a2zhandi the danger is not that there is no oil, teh danger is the oil-crunch, that´s the phase that comes after the peak-oil. demand is growing but supply is decreasing. and hydrogen...epic fail, because hydrogen is no energy source, it´s an energy carrier. (except hydrogen in space, but on earth there´s no pure hydrogen)

  • @domdadon018 haha, I have a generator I designed in my truck. (still in testing phase).

I got over 40 more miles to a tank. PLUS I hauled 2 loads of material to the dump. PLUS I had leaks up the ying yang!!

I'm expecting around 100 +/- more miles to a tank.

So take this evidence as FACTS, DON'T say hydrogen is fail by any sense of the word!!

    Thanks

  • @a2zhandi So tell me then, what is the plastic in the dashboard of your truck made from? The fibres in the seats or the sealants around the windows? Are you tyres oil free? If a part of your truck where to break where would you go to replace it? Would that part exist if made in a facotry that did not use oil? Could you build that part yourself? What about the tools you would use to build it, would you be able to make them yourself without any oil products?

Your not solving anything Im afraid.

  • @moonsugar1 So tell me what does your last comment have to do with my reply?

You wrote off hydrox off as "FAIL"

I've made many tools. Don't remember if I used any oil products or not. (I may have used canola oil) or maybe vegetable oil).

I make parts for a living. I design & build custom with any material on earth.

I"m simply working hard to save people from being raped by the oil industry while they tend to their families. And struggle to make ends meat. cont......

  • @a2zhandi I didnt write off hydrox as a fail bud.. I dont doubt your intentions and the work your doing, hopefully it can make a difference in the future. My point being that oil is so much more than the fuel in our cars. I never knew just how much it gave us and how much it is used. Its the paint on our walls, the toothpaste and tooth bruthes in our homes. Although people like yourself can find us alternatives, its still going to be a BIG transition when we go into production decline.

  • @moonsugar1 I smell a rat

  • @a2zhandi Lol, what you been sniffin! Whats up?

  • @moonsugar1 Me? I'm high on inspirational data received.(weed / glue is kid stuff)

    YOU?

  • @a2zhandi Nicotine, Valium, Vicodin, marijuana, Ecstasy and Alcohol. Normal Tuesday night in. lol

Why did you say you smelt a rat? I didnt mean to offend you or anything...

  • @moonsugar1 you ran off with the fingers pointing out all the uses for oil. While I was trying to show a less dependent "personal" experience everyone can have should they choose to do it. And plus save millions of tons of emissions into the atmosphere.

I've instantaneously came up with other practical uses for hho. Home heating, water heating, swimming pool heating, cooking, metal cutting, brazing, melting, ect. The best part is, it's only emission is WATER!

    Thanks

  • @moonsugar1 no really, all kidding aside. Here's what I'm trippin on:

    watch?v=aEOlunjAYiw

  • cont......

Year after year oil continues to reap record profits! While the "average" income hasn't risen in some 30 YEARS!!

So all I have left to say is: FUCK THAT!

    thanks

  • I prefer Mad Max.

  • The title of this should be:

    "WHEN the oil runs out."

  • I just wanted to leave a comment regarding the oil crash effect on American society, whose everyday people i like alot and fear for greatly.

In the comments posted on the first part of this video, someone had said "This is why I have a gun".

That attitude is exactly why America is fucked. Its the American dream thats going to fall out the bottom, and theres a gun in most households. That country could burn, and its very horrible to even speculate.

  • @moonsugar1 hm... this could be a very good reason why in germany some years ago, after an school massacre, the weapons laws were tightend. we had very strict weapon laws anyway. butnow sport gunners have to bring their weapons to police, get it when shooting, and then bring it back after. also in germany there is no debate about peak-oil, no films, no newspaper articles. every information i get is from english/american sources. when i talk to friends about it, there´s no one ever heard about it

  • @moonsugar1 talking to ppl about this topic, the always answer with: electric cars and wind power will save us. they cant understand that this is the smallest problem how to drive from a to b. no idea about how much oil is used for food, medcine, and daily stuff. economic will grow after the crisis and our lifes will be better..thats common sense in germany!

  • @domdadon018 Its always a pleasure to meet someone else that understands Peak oil. It worries me that alot of people I have spoke to about this from Germany say the same thing, that the issue is totally ignored. Im afraid its the same in the UK, although Richard Branson is fighting the battle believe it or not. He set up an independent commision and is trying to take the problem to government.

But thats the problem, no government will ever admit peak oil until they absolutlely have to... (cont)

  • @domdadon018 They cant be soon to admit its a problem because it challenges our way of life and no party ever got into power by saying things need to get smaller rather than bigger. You can expect very little truth from our governments on peak oil.

What worries me is that we are in the early stages of collapse, and it already looks worse than most predicted. Particularly the Economy, which has fucked itself up without oil, and the fallout of the OPEC members. I'll add you as a friend... ;)

  • the big gas companies just want us to believe in this BS so they can keep getting 4 & 5 bucks a gallon for it.

  • @4981josh you got it right. A little bit of evidence is: Supposedly the continent of north america (usa mainly) sits on an oil reserve way bigger than saudi arabia!

  • the big gas companies just want us to believe in this BS so they can keep getting 4 & 5 bucks a gallon for it

  • lol fuck just removing oil, im all for removing power in all its forms

closely followed by religion and government

  • @ blueboxcompany: War is a completely inefficient means of controlling population. It requires that you spend 18 years raising a child, feeding it and educating it. Then, once it reaches the point where it can be a great asset, you send it off to get shot or blown up. Try birth control.

  • Drill Alaska! Then Titan!

  • If I had the power to I would take everyones car's away from them and set up transport hubs consisting of monorails' bus's and plains. making it easier to conserve oil which means we can use that oil to transport goods which means lower prices pulling our country out of debt... right after we pay china the couple trillion or so dollars we owe them!

to bad human ignorance will never let that happen, a real damn shame.

youd think with all the luxeries we already have we could do that but no

  • If you lived in central London why do you even have a car?

This is a load of scaremongering anyway, for a start at $80 for a barrel of oil 3rd generation biofuels such as oil and gas from algae becomes a viable alternative we just need to build up the manufacturing and refining infrastructure to meet our demands and this is lready been done by the likes of BP and Shell.

  • Epic fail saying "we're all gonna fucking die to over population" or "peak oil equals death". It doesnt mean a thing if the oil gets more expensive or population grows like shit. It depends on cultures and styles of living. Less oil doesn't mean less luxury or less fun. People just have to get their head out of their asses. It's impossible to find a perfect substitution for oil; instead we have to change our urban structure so that we're not as hooked to oil. And the ways are already out there..

  • i agree with Vulcan750L the west has already lost. The western world has to come together and forget about greed.. We have the technologies

  • i agree with Vulcan750L the west has already lost

  • So lets get this straight, John drove 5000 miles to a Jet petrol station in the UK to get gas? I wonder if he got a Ginsters pasty?

    Utter bollocks.

  • H2S gas smells like money.

  • This movie was too sugarcoated. The resource wars will soon begin in earnest and anyone other than the rich or leaders are going to be trod under. People are arming themselves to stay alive at all costs including murder. We are all our brothers keeper yet the innocent will be the first to die. Even the USA will look like those war torn countries where you see no compassion anywhere. A grim scenario not far away at the rate we're going.

  • 2016? Looks like 2011. The most massive human undertaking in our history ahead and no evidence of hardly even starting it. I must laugh when I hear people speak of the alternative energy sources which are so far away from substituting for fossil fuels we'll be down below a billion total world population before we know it.. We need to get on it now!

  • My truck gets 12 mpg. Fuck it!!!!!

  • The acting and scripting of the drama leaves something to be desired.

  • stop fuckin using V8s ... u mother fuckers

  • "oil runs out oil runs out oil runs out oil runs out oil runs out oil runs out oil runs out oil runs out " -fairy tale started in the sixties.

    Did it ?

Yes, like polar bear 'extinction' brainwash:

    yera 1950 - 2.500,

    year 2000 - - - - - 2 5 . 0 0 0 ...

Oil. Naturally from the Nature. Spewing out Naturally from ocean floors. At the moment known reserves last just only ... 2000 years with current consumption. Now be happy and run to pump to pay u taxes for these liars...

  • @Pakkaspyry

    your drinking kool aid

  • @zoticus1

    every day

    however,

...that has no effect on oil reserves neither polar bear extinction via multiplication; alas, facts anyone can easily check like w w w junkscience c o m

I always wonder whatsit like being duped by AlGoReal globall Fantasies, feel happy?

  • I think if anything we just end up killing each other before the oil actually runs out if this show is any indication of what assholes people will turn into.

  • Humanity has had a party for the past 200 years and looks like its ending soon. :(

  • It cost about five US dollars, for EVERY barrel of oil removed, and stored .Ask yourselves WHY oil is so expensive per barrel on trading???

  • SH!T:Simply , We are going 2 b fucked.

but U,? the western people R going 2 b fucked really really hard & be4 us "Saudis".

Because we can produce oil for 70 yrs at least.

& we've stored oil, which will be enough for 10 years .

    C U, future-less friends .

Ur judgment day will b just after couples of yrs.

& in the best cases U'll die from hunger & disease

Never mentioning the freak christians cults who R going 2 crucifies & burn ppl LOL

    Sad I'll not b able 2 watch this ,It's going 2 b FUN:)

  • and this is why I think wither solar or nuclear energy is the future

  • @tingis407

and how exactly are you going to run a plane or a car by "NUCLEAR ENERGY"

Or every car will have it's own nuclear cell , wat if a drunk guy just crash into a tree just near ur house

Pal you should stop watching Terminator

Never mentioning, How can you make nuclear "sh!t" and solar cells without oil ? are you going to use cows SHIT or it's ur shit is the chosen shit to save the world

count how many "shit" word in the previous comment and u'll win a barrel of oil :)

  • @Captive107 give me your insight if the oil runs out?

  • @Captive107 Electrify transport: trains, personal autos. Not a silver bullet but a part of the solution.

  • Forgive me for sounding incredibly selfish, but as the events related to Peak Oil take hold, I'll be very happy to be living in Australia as I firmly believe that, even if the worst of the worst happens as depicted in "Mega Disasters: Oil Apocalypse", we will indeed remain "the lucky country" compared to everyone else.

    Continues...

  • @SirBroadsword

I believe this because we have a low population, are relatively oil poor compared to the Middle East (meaning it wouldn't be worth the effort to try and forcefully grab our oil) and in a global nuclear exchange, our position somewhat out-of-the-way of the rest of the world puts us in a good position to survive the catastrophe, particularly as we are not a particularly tempting target for anyone's nukes (meaning we'd only have to worry about fallout)...

  • @SirBroadsword

do you think the easterns will leave you playing with their land ???

they are going to kick your white FAT ass back to England or what ever the country you came from :)

you are the first nation who will be fucked , use condom pal you don't need your future-less children to suffer , or buy a Boat for them so they wont need to swim back to England.

  • @Captive107

1: The "easterns" won't be able to do anything if they're all dead (or their infastructure falls apart, something very likely to happen to China first or almost first in an "Oil Apocalypse" scenario).

2: Australia, mate, AUSTRALIA. Firstly, please have a look at a world map (Australia and the U.K. are about as geographically removed as you can get) and secondly, I have never left my home country, so there is nothing for anyone ("easterns" or otherwise) to kick me back to...

  • face it, either we hurry up fusion power or we're all screwed

  • @fairyheli2 Quebec has proved we can run our power grids on Dame, solar and wind, that will reduce use to the point we can make better cars. A French motor company has just unvailed a car that goes 100Km's on 2L. of gas.

  • grow hemp.... ganja is the answer lol. really though, it's uses are plentiful, and fuel is one of them. look it up if you don't believe me

  • nice video, but i never really understood what that dial was that keeps going up. i originally thought that was suppose to be the world's oil supply, but then it should be going down and not going up from 0

  • @bgy110107

I think it's supposed to be the number of barrels of oil that have been burnt since the start of the documentary. The show's about an hour long and the counter's reached 3.5 million by the end (the video cuts the end of the credits off, but the counter does reappear just before that happens). 3.5 million x 24 hours = 84 million, which is about how many barrels were being consumed every day when the doc came out (I have to assume that it's more now).

  • i will fix the world i am the next tesla lol

  • shit thats really stupid. now we can change to electric cars.damm

  • Let this be a lesson kids, if you don't stop using so much oil you will get your ass stomped out at a gas station.

  • @knowthetruth1492 I'd say adults use a bit more oil products than kids.

  • @knowthetruth1492 Yeah, I guess it was our fault that your generation used all of the easy to extract stuff out. My generation hasn't been given a chance to screw things up yet. It's all on you.

  • Comment removed

  • @Mehmet66Yozgat

    And your info comes from?

  • @Mehmet66Yozgat

Then please explain a dry oil well, where there is no oil?

  • @Mehmet66Yozgat There aren't any infinite reserves of anything. It's like saying that it's impossible for an animal to go extinct.

  • @Mehmet66Yozgat oil is formed from plant and animal matter that has broken down and been subjected to extremes of temperature and pressure over millions of years, so it's only common sense that if we are using 85 million barrels of oil a day you would have to expect that this natural process of the earth forming crude oil would have to keep up with that for an 'infinite' supply... and it just doesn't. sorry to break it to u

  • Oil Profits skyrocket as demand increases and supply decreases...Demand will only keep increasing as long as they have a transportation and heating MONOPOLY. ....electric car and electric heating doesn't bother me.

  • If we run low on oil, then we can expect the following to occur: a) oil will rise in price past $7 or 8 a gallon, making alternative fuels feasible; b) heavy stagflation will occur (remember the 1970s? Same thing.) c) transit use and funding (and carpools) will go up, d) whatever President is on duty at the time might expect to be thrown out of office in the next election (whatever his party is), e) road rage will increase, and f) government membership turnover will be high, etc.

  • @Rickyrab

Suburbia will go down the drain, as people huddle closer to transit stations. The upshot will be much like 2008/2009 (underwater mortgages, foreclosure gridlock, you know the drill) in suburbs, while urban and downtown landowners get rich.

  • @Rickyrab

The replacement fuels: Coal first (there's more of it than there is of oil, I think), then nuclear, geothermal, water power, wind power, solar (both direct and through satellite collection), with methane, ethanol, and hydrogen perhaps playing a minor role (it's likely easier to shepherd energy through electrical wires and batteries than it is through hydrogen, methane, and ethanol).

  • gl.oobal waming fucktards your part of the problem

  • I think they already got the answers they just don't want us to know em yet. There is plenty of natural gas and oil in the shale. also ofshore oil. But the biggest one they don't wanna happen is Algae to oil. Its cheap easy to grow anywhere. Algae is the answer it can make oil that it pretty similar to crude oil they can get gasoline and diesel out of it.

  • Cableairman; Hope your right on this Algae idea. I've heard that Algae to oil. Is along way off.

  • @cableairman

I would hazard a guess that it would be the heavier hydrocarbons (more carbon atoms per molecule) that you couldn't get from Algae, which isn't that big of a problem as just about the only use the heavier hydrocarbons have (a slugy residue of which is left behind after crude oil is divided into different products via fractional distillation) is as road bitumen...

  • letting BP drill in Alaska no f'ing way.

  • great video

  • That is if the guy still have his insurance.

  • clipper ships sail ho

  • @BlueBoxCompany I agree, but unfortunately if we have a war then NOT the right people will die. The only people that will be sacrificed will be the poor and lower classes of those countries. I just bought 30 acres in country & will be preparing for the worst. We will try to make a go of it without any oil or other natural source. Why do they call oil and gas a natural REsource when its not? It's not like it will just grow back. Trees are a resource, not oil. might make vids of it all. idk.

  • @arnie71

If we had a war it would go thermonuclear, nobody will profit, nobody will gain, there are no winners, everybody loses and everybody will be equal.

    Equally fucked that is.

  • @arnie71

Of course oil is a resource, and a natural one at that, just as gold (or indeed any metal you care to name) is a natural resource... Indeed, anything that can be used by humans to satisfy a need or want can be classified as a "resource". What oil is is a NON-RENEWABLE natural resource...

  • @arnie71

Of course oil is a resource, and a natural one at that, just as gold (or indeed any metal you care to name) is a natural resource... Indeed, anything that can be used by humans to satisfy a need or want can be classified as a "resource". What oil is is a NON-RENEWABLE natural resource...

  • @BlueBoxCompany No we're not like rats but more like a very poor adaptation of a virus infecting it's host. I say very poor because most viruses have unbelievable adaptability and survival strategies that have evolved over time but I'm afraid the earth can simply adjust the temperature enough so that the virus is killed off. Remember the earth can quite comfortably shut down for a few million years. I think we're already signed our death warrants long ago the second we struck oil.

  • @BlueBoxCompany

To be fair, population growth rates ARE slowing worldwide. It has been projected that in 2050 there'll be about the same number of people aged 0-14 as there are people in that age bracket now, meaning eventually humanity will reach a point where the population simply cannot grow any further (and indeed, between now and 2050 it will only grow because of improving health conditions in third world countries, with more people reaching a ripe old age.

    Continues...

  • @SirBroadsword

It seems that human population is (barring a severe pandemic, an unprecidented food shortage or World War III) going to stablise at 9 or 10 billion, which I think we can all agree is way too many, but at least it WILL stablise...

  • @BlueBoxCompany

The population growth for all developed countries, including the US, is in decline. It is third world countries and Muslim countries that have an explosion of population. The US and other developed countries grow each year by a few percentage points only because of immigration, otherwise our populations would be shrinking with each passing year.

If Americans and Europeans don't start having more babies, the world will become an Islamic world within 50 years.

  • @Vulcan750L I have no idea what the hell your source is, pardon me but thats the stupiedest thing Ive ever heard. our popullation is definetly "not" decreasing. and what do you mean by islamic world? feal free to try and prove me wrong but I garuntee you that your source is wrong.

  • @BlueBoxCompany

I suggest you reread my comment so that you understand it first. And then if you still disagree, show me where I am wrong and prove it. Don't just talk ignorant shit.

  • @Vulcan750L I think I made it pretty clear where I thought you were wrong so how about you re read my comment. what do you mean by islamic country? and if anyone is being ignorant its you.

ignorance: a state of being uninformed (lack of knowlege)

  • @Vulcan750L isnt that just like saying the world will become 99% Chinese or Indian in the next decade?

  • @yahoy77

No. How do you figure that?

    Check out this video . . .

    watch?v=6-3X5hIFXYU

  • @Vulcan750L because, its just as you said about the increase in population of Islamic countries, asian countries have a higher population rate than the US or Europe too.

  • @yahoy77

Yes, but not as quickly as other countries. Most of them are Muslim.

China has a 1 child policy, so their population should be declining. Indians I don't know about. Africa who are mostly Muslim, in 1950 had a population of 250 million. Now, they have over a Billion. They more than quadrupled in size in 60 years. If they keep that up, in another 60 years, there will be 4 Billion, just in Africa.

The entire world population right now is 6.5 Billion.

  • @BlueBoxCompany Couldn't agree more, a grwoing population means growing demand and higher prices, food strains and particularly on oil

  • @BlueBoxCompany yeh she got poke up at the oil rigs by that tall bloke sharing her bed

  • @BlueBoxCompany totally agree, especially if they were american

  • @xDarkcynx That's right. Kill off the Americans. Good plan. This world will be a wonderful success without the United States. After all, nobody in this world has ever needed U.S. financial and/or military aid to get them out of a major crisis, right? Oh wait...scratch that. Yes indeed, the world HAS proven it cannot get along without the help of the U.S. But anyway....nevermind all that crap. You're right. Let's kill off those pesky American helpers. Great plan!!!!!!! You ROCK!

  • @macmusic08 well, let's see now. Yes america does help out here and there but it also manipulates and exploits other countries for their resources. Now let's add up the positives and the negatives. Probably adds up to zero so the world would go on nicely. Did you notice the part where americans consume 25 barrels per year whereas britons consume 11 down to developing which consume even less ..... We might just be better off without the glutton. There would be more left over for the others.

  • @claudelebel55 America "does help out here and there?". If I were to run down the list of good the U.S. has done throughout history, it would literally take hours and many, many comment postings. But I think it's ludicrous to have to give a history lesson to a man in his 60's. Staggering to discover that the stupidity of liberalism knows no age limit. You sound like just one more jealous Canadian to me. (Yawn).

  • @claudelebel55 As far as our oil consumption is concerned, you fail to take into account the size of our population. That is a factor. Given the billions in aid we give to countries all over the globe (along with blood sacrifices in wars, without so much as a THANK YOU extended to us) I think we are entitled to use enough of the world's oil supply to sustain our population. We are the world's helper, but nobody really stands up for the U.S. "Glutton" my ASS!

  • @macmusic08 the 25 barrels per person per year is an average. It has nothing to do with the population size. It is a well known fact that the US consumes a disproportionate amount of the worlds resources (20% of the oil with only 5% of the world population). As for doing so much for others, get a balanced view. Much harm has also been done by corporations, the CIA and trigger happy soldiers.

  • @macmusic08 and Glutton is not such a bad term when you consider that you also have the highest level of obesity in the world .... per capita, you consume more food, more oil, more of everything ... gobble, gobble, gobble :) Can you see the truth in it ?

  • @macmusic08 listen, I don't want to be too hard on you. The main thing is to admit that countries, like individuals, are very often motivated by self-interest. Countries, individuals, and political parties are very often driven by selfish motives.

  • @claudelebel55 @macmusic08 I think both of you should know that your arguement is pointless. I could join in with a British arguement but it would be to no avail either. Beleive it or not, after the oil crash, Humanity will be survived by the Third World.

Simply because they are unaffected by oil. Turns out those undiscovered tribes in the amazon, are actually the better off. Its almost beyond irony dont you think?!

Check out 'Collapse' if you havent seen it as well, its on youtube somewhere.

  • again what was it the very first car ran on -? ford ran his car on hemp oil did any of yous ever think of that-? well when the worlds goverments have no other choice they will have to go back to doing that , by then it will be to late to dig up the upper north america's land - so there's that to look apond...

  • Why did that lady tell her father she was sorry? It is not like she was the one who beat her father up.

  • Maybe she's apologising on behalf of the oil companies who will have to bear part of the responsibility for this coming crisis.

  • I love how the understate the end of this doc Our entire agriculture system is based off of oil that means food shortages and alot of starvation

  • kevthor64 is the personification of the real problem; naive people who believe in easy solutions.

A private wind turbine will hardly power a light bulb, and the best vehicle he can hope for is an electric scooter.

  • Ha ha ha watch the world crumble! Finally we are free!
