  • what scale length is this guitar? I'm considering buying one, but my band plays in f#, and I didn't know if this would be good enough or if I should just spring for an RGA 8. (can't afford prestige atm)

  • did you have to do any wood work to get those passive pickups in there? :)

  • should I get this or the RG7320 ? lol

  • @BatistaStrums123 If you look in the "uploader comments" he suggests looking at other guitars because this guitar has less versatility. He also says try both if you can.

  • nice shred

  • excellent playing but the sound from the android phone kill this poor XXX, in reality sound would be far better

  • Sound quality is too good to judge.

  • Hey there,

Just wondering if i could use the power supply for the active EQ to simultainiously power a set of active pups

    Thanks,

  • @Pr0m4rkstx I, and most people would advise you to simply ditch the active EQ (Mud Switch) and use it for something useful, then just use the battery compartment to power some blackouts or EMGs.

  • god i suck at guitar. thanks a lot man!

  • very nice playing !

  • These pickups will make any guitar sound awesome.

  • Hi ! what kind of foam are you using at the nut ?? thanks

  • @ProBuNdi This is the grey foam that EMGs used to come with in a box. Had to stick some of it under the bridge springs as well. Check out my other videos of this guitar.

  • @Ytseman ahh foam from EMG box ok I see now. What do you mean with bridge springs ? :)

  • @ProBuNdi Behind each string block there is a spring, they vibrate as well.

  • @Ytseman Ah ok !

I tried one on my guitar shop ... such a light guitar ... the lightest guitar I ever had in my hands (over that it's a 7 strings). It's positive or negative ? :(

  • Dsonic&Liquifire should be ok. Tight low B and well mached output of the neck pu, go for it.

  • awesome

dude, correct me if i'm wrong: other than the pick-up change, you removed the active EQ toggle switch and had the volume knob take its place..

and yeah, do you think this RGA7 is as, ehem, versatile as their other 7 strings like the S7420? im under the impression it's only for skull-pounding metal sounds..

  • @nznr82 Your imression is right, the price tag is the only good thing about this guitar. You are right, 250k pots have been replaced with 500k which brighten up the sound a bit. S7420 is more versatile (5way switch, comortable bridge) if you ask me and might be worth investing extra $. I recommend trying out before making any decision.
