What a wonderful woman she was. Her efforts benefit us all and I feel that a statue of Barbara Gittings should be put up somewhere. She was truly a brave and persistent pioneer, but also did her work with kindness and love, never malice. I would have loved to meet her and say a huge thank you. RIP Barbara, you will always have a special place in my heart.
