You're right, prodsmash2! Ends up that it is a Martello Tower from 1804. And all these years I thought it was the Joyce Tower. *LOL* How wonderful that you were able to grow up in the area. I sincerely think parts of Ireland are a heaven on earth. :)
FYI on the music selection - I had the original song by A Fine Frenzy on repeat during my last visit to Killiney, so this is replicating the full experience. ;)
Some lovely photos of my home which I love and miss so much... A couple of points. The tower on the island is not Joyce's tower which is much further along the coast at Sandycove towards Dun Laoghaire. Also an instrumental piece of music might suit better - but these are small points. Well done. Good video.
