  • i always wondered if when Anne went to Heaven, if she and Catherine laughed about what an ass Henry is and said sorry to each other lol

  • awesome vid! the song really goes well and great editing. i feel so sorry for all of henry wives, they all suffered. though i have to disagree with you on "anne got it worst". henry did poison katherine. elizabeth suffered less cause from memory didn't marry spend more time in isolation then her? plus marry was forced to serve elizabeth. and katherine would have lost all dignity if she went to a nunnery like he wanted. plus she loved him for real, unlike anne who just wanted to be queen.

  • @sweenett101 There's no evidence that ANYONE poisoned Katherine; she could just as well have had cancer, or simply been unhealthy. Elizabeth deserved a mother as much as Mary did, and never had one. By executing Anne, Henry gave his own daughter a lifelong distrust of men and marriage. And honestly, forcing Mary to serve Elizabeth was bad - a blow to her pride - but the people of England at the time had it a whole hell of a lot worse. And Anne? She might have adored him. You don't know.

  • @MagicCrafter Well in the series he did say "she made me poison Katherine".

  • @MagicCrafter Anyway lets just agree that they both had sucky deaths, you can't just say one was treated more fairly than the other.

  • @xlovexothersxalsox After all that, Anne should have been more gracious in her victory and she didn't need ot be so cruel. She kept picking fights with so many people, it's no wonder she had so many enemies.

  • @TheNuharoo Exactly. That's why I can't believe people refer to her as intelligent. She might have been streetsmart but she lacked common sense. If she was so smart she wouldn't have picked fights with people closest to Henry. That is what ultimately put her head on the chopping block. Otherwise she probably would have just been sent away like Queen Katherine,

  • @xlovexothersxalsox No, actually, she couldn't have easily have stopped. Who knows what would have happened if she did? Her father had power and he pushed her into those steps to enhance his political career. And this is a show - you don't actually know how Anne acted, or how Catherine acted. At least Anne's legacy still WAS the legacy instead of Bloody Mary who killed thousands.

  • @sammelina12 Sweetheart you need to look up your history. Mary did not kil thousands. She killed around 300. And if you are going to throw stones at Mary you should throw stones at Elizabeth to. Elizabeth was the one to get England involved in the slave trade. She even let them use one of her ships for slave expeditions. As for Anne's legacy Anne was dead by the time Elizabeth was 3. She gets no credit for how Elizabeth turned out because she had nothing to do with her upbringing.

  • @xlovexothersxalsox well it looks like it's not only me who needs to look up my history. I may have made a mistake about Mary, but if you hadn't noticed Elizabeth saved England after the destruction Henry the 8th made after his ruling, the crisis with religion. Also, she took a stand for women everywhere. And if you haven't noticed, sweetheart, many mothers were dead when their children were growing up. Elizabeth was the product of henry and anne and became queen - she was the legacy.

  • @sammelina12 And as for this being a show I'm aware o f that. I hate Anne based on documents of her ACTUAL behavior. Ordering Mary to be slapped if "like the worthless bastard she was" if she referred to herself as princess. Wanting to take Mary's christening gown from Katherine and use it for Elizabeth. Saying that if Mary refused to eat she should be starved back into the hall. Threatening to have them both executed. Celebrating Katherine's death. I can list more. Need I go on?

  • @xlovexothersxalsox Well honey I don't know if you haven't noticed but times back then were tough. Many people starved. Mary would know that, wouldn't she? After all the "300" people she murdered?

    right.

  • @sammelina12 It's adorable how you pick and choose what you will respond to. I wonder how Elizabeth would have felt working on a plantation and being beaten by her owner. Afterall that's what she subjected (either directly or indirectly) millions of Africans to? Right. Elizabeth also had people executed for friviolous reasons yet you gloss over that. What Mary did was not uncommon at the time and she believed she was protecting her kingdom. -continued-

  • @xlovexothersxalsox Its funny how you think I select what I will respond to, but don't bother because I only reply to what is relevant. You have failed to show me the proof of what you say - how do I know if any of this is real? You may know them better than me, or not. But the bottom line is that these are 2 different opinons. Don't try to change mine, I won't touch yours.

  • Anne was the best. She was forced into that relationship by her father; and she knew that she was already too far in to stop. You can't say that Anne was dirty or a slut, because it wasn't her fault. Both of them died by Henry's hand, and after all of those wives, it was still Anne's female child who won the throne. (Elizabeth).

  • Catherine is the best! **

  • 2 true. great video! really goes well with the song. i wish katherine would punch anne in the face, how she stood and watched it all yet fought scotland in the war i will never know.

  • part 2: Katharine was a princess, with ties to two of the most powerful Monarchies that existed at that time. Ann was a English subject, who's security rested on her being able to produce what her predecessor could not. It was painful to see what became of Katharine, but she died with dignity, and the love of the people. Anne played the harlot, and died a harlot's death. As I watched the Tudor's, I was definitely amused to see what befell Anne

  • I feel sorry for Katharine, she was a able Queen consort, and a good wife to Henry; but Henry wanted a son. Neither Katharine or Anne was able to give him that. I must say that I don 't pity Anne at all. Henry would have been rid of Katharine weather it was Anne, or some on else. But Anne's unchecked ambition, and opportunism didn't help; and her treatment of the princess Mary while she was queen was atrocious.

  • Both Katharine and Anne died because of this man. Katharine died alone in seclusion and terrible conditions not being allowed to see her child. Anne was beheaded for convenience (who knows she might of had his son had she lived and was given the chance.) Elizabeth deserved to be raised by the person who undoubtedly loved her the most. The man was a monster.

  • i totally agree with this. he was a tyrant.
