  • To bad they are not doing anymore airshows at McGuire or Fort Dix

  • Nice, I still like the Blue Angles better.

  • lol i live right near the entrance in wrightstown. hahahaha this was like in my back yard.

  • Jaw on table WOW! An AWESOME preview of what I hope to see in Chicago this year!!!

  • 1000x better live

  • @xXreallydontcareXx Wow. What a shame that you have such little respect for these brave service men/women that you would see fit to say their displays of prowess are boring. You could probably never do any of the things they're doing, so who are you to say it's boring? And on an unrelated note, if you really studied AVIONICS and worked in aircraft MAINTENANCE you would relize your requests for stupid stunts are ridiculous. And you probably know how to spell both of those words.

  • If they perform on europen and russian airshows the U.S. will monopolyze fighter aircraft industry!!

  • the surprised fly-by scared the shit out of me when i watched it live XD

  • Could've sworn I saw a blue angles flag. They must've been there too.

  • wat would be cool if i saw the plane parked in mid air

or if the pilot ejected then landed in another air plane and started flyin it lol

  • i got bored after they took of lol lol nah i love thunder birds and i study flight aviconics and air craft mentanance but this shit iz borin

  • Thats down with the sickness by disturbed! wow and who got front row? I did!

  • the opening song goes so well with the takeoff its sick

  • Went to the 2007 one, but I was actually out flying the same day of the 2008 one...I remember how there was a TFR around McGuire AFB, and how we couldn't fly anywhere near it, even though I asked McGuire Tower if we could.

  • Beautiful Day (Sunburst Mix) by Matt Darey

only reason i know it is because that's one of my favorite parts in the show for the 2008 season.

  • yes they still play the robin hood prince of thieves theme when they come in 2 land awesome! :)

  • I just saw them oct 25th and 26th @ wings over houston. That was actually the first time I saw a high show in person since I was 8. Whenever they came it would always rain. I met all the pilots, they're very nice and friendly.

  • 12:00 all part of the plan

  • Did we almost see a big time screw up at 12:00?

  • Why do you say that? Looks fine to me.

  • Look again. Maybe its just the spot on the ground but it almose SEEMED that Maj. Austin accelerated too fast and then backed off? Just an observation...

  • Ehh maybe... it's hard to tell.

  • haha hey joe i was there too man went both days at offut afb

  • did I see a Blue Angels Flag flying as well?

  • Thanks for posting, great preview of the show. Thunderbirds will be at Offutt Air Show, Omaha, this month. I will be there.

  • Oh man 31:00 was pretty bad... but hey, thats gotta be VERY tough trying to get into formation after being so spaced like that. Not common to see something like that from them. Just saw them on Sunday... flawless... love them!

  • Anyone know the last song? I know I've heard it before, it's from a soundtrack. It sounds very much like a Randy Edelman composition but I just can't place it.

  • Can someone tell me the name of the song that starts at 22:50?

  • It's called "Children" from the album Dreamland by Robert Miles. It's about 12 years old. I used to put this album on to go to sleep with when I was a teenager. One of my favorite songs ever.

  • nice! thanks for uploading this i enjoyed all 35 minutes

  • What's the opening song?

  • Ladies and Gentleman by Saliva

  • i first saw them in redmond oregon in 91 or 92. at that time i was 12 13ish. the smoke was red blue and white.

  • ehh are you sure you didn't see the red arrows?

  • Anyone know the song during the "pass and review?"

  • coldplay, name of the song is yellow

  • no it hasn't; he's referring to a LONG, LONG time ago. I don't know when they stopped, but they have pictures in the front hallway of the thunderbirds squadron hangar at Nellis of the different colored smoke.

  • I dont recall any smoke being colored, if the smoke would be colored, it would turn a dirty brownish color, as the T-birds tried in 04 to color it.

  • the only time the thunderbirds used colored smoke was with the f-105b thunderchiefs if I remember correctly. They have never used it with the F-16's period.

  • what is the song playing when she does the slow roll

  • Robbie Williams - Millenium

  • omg it sounds A LOT less loud on video than at the show! it was so loud that you could feel the engines like an earthquake!

  • didnt the thunderbirds smoke trails use to be white blue and red? i kno it hasnt been that way for awhile. but does anyone kno when they changed and why?

  • Thunderbirds great as usual but they seemed a little 'off' compared to when I saw them in Arkansas last month.... maybe its just me?

  • it's not just you. The Thunderbirds always seem good, but then at points in the performance you're like: wow, I can't believe how bad that was. Watch towards the end where the right side of the diamond doesn't rejoin until they're over the crowd. Let's face it, the thunderbirds are not as good as the other teams, and they make the biggest deal out of themselves.

  • That's part of the manuever, if you know all about that, you should know about this.

There is NO good or bad jet team, they are all equal in representing the armed forces not only in the United States but at other countries and demonstration teams around the world.

  • Your sunny opinion is admirable, however, I don't feel it's accurate. It couldn't have been part of the maneuver. I'm sure that they were supposed to rejoin at the same time. The T-birds have dumbed down their routine SO much compared to the way it used to be-and they still aren't as good. I don't know what's changed because they used to be great. I'm not trying to be a youtube jerk; I honestly think the they stink. I haven't seen them once in 15 years and thought they did a passable job.

  • I have some video from the 2006 season that would blow your mind. I took it here at Dyess AFB in Texas, and it shows the right side of the diamond almost completely leaving the formation in several maneuvers. I honestly thought whoever flew that aircraft was drunk. In one part of my video, they are 4 times further away from lead than the other jets, and start screaming in so fast that if the left wing didn't move, they would have been hit. If you'd like me to send it to you, PM me.

  • I agree the T-birds demo is "graceful". But there's a downside, The F-16 I think of is a very high powered aircraft, and I think the T-birds demo is trying to be very graceful with high performance, nimble aircraft which can lead to some bumps, ...just my two cents.

  • The two don't have much to do with each other. The fly-by-wire makes delicate and graceful control very easy. It's not like flying an Extra 300s where the linkage is all rods with no flex; the F-16 can maneuver gently because it's programmed into the computer. They should be able to for the same reason the Blue Angels can and do all the time--the two aircaft actually share many features (wgile very different) because they were built to compete with each other.
