Amen! I ADORED the first 6 seasons of this show (and still do - I own the DVDs) purely because it was such a breath of fresh air from those insipid "cookie cutter" happy-crappy sitcoms that pervaded the airwaves in the late 80's (Growing Pains, Family Ties, Full House, Cosby, Who's the Boss, Mr. Belvedere, on and on and on......). Roseanne's problems were frickin' REAL.

There are a like two versons of this intro I was watching the show tonight, and after the music modulates, there are some more blues licks, very nice....this one does not have that...i like when the guitar goes down from the one to the seven to flat seven, its a kinda chromatic blues passing lick.......my fav sitcom of all time...

i thought this season was fucking awesome, and the intro the way they updated it with the kickass electric guitar and drums and blues bass, kicked major ass compared with the change in the writers so the writing became raunchier and funnier in this season (6), just once in a lifetime, this show was really kicking it and dishing it out this season, I was 8 years old, my parents wanted me to watch Full House, fuck that, I was watching Roseanne up in my room and laughing my ass off!

are you joking? season 6-7 were the best seasons of all, the previous seasons, and the ones after them couldn't compare, it only got funnier in season 6 cause the jokes became raunchier and dirtier and less family-friendly, but humour is objective and i know some people liked the more conservative humour of the previous seasons of roseanne
