Jeez, Ya'll on on some old testament stuff here. I'm sure Jesus would be right with ya'll out there fighting. Matthew 25:35 said something about trying to get your neigbors deported and preventing them from feeding their families, right?
instead of giving in to the problem of illegals invading our Country, why doesn't the "faith-based" coaliation take the men that are illegal, (that they are so concerned about) bring them to their churches and began helping them become legal citizens? Also, open your homes to them and their families. Why not? I have done that with a family I didn't know, but they were Citizens of the USA...thats what Jesus would do!..............flagwaver
According to the border patrol, it is a certainty that OTM's (other than mexicans) have crossed OUR borders. Continuing our "don't ask, don't tell" policy is like putting snakes in our front yard. Only some of them are rattlesnakes. The only thing is we won't know until one strikes. Well, if it bites you you won't be ill. Well, if you become ill you won't die. Well ... thus the insanity of NOT holding ALL our civic leaders derelict of duty to accountability on this issue.
If we continue to avoid, deny and compromise on this issue, our sovereignty, our freedom will be adversely affected permanently. The evidence is clear, on this issue the Truth, accountability and responsibility take a back seat to compromise and pandering to special interests at Cy-Creek Christian Community Center. WWJD? Clarity of spirit is good for the soul.
I would like to say thank you to all those folks in Border Watch for having the courage to take this to the streets where these day labors are located. I would like to see more public debates. Would be nice to see 700am or 740am host a debate, get Border Watch and Ted Poe and John Culberson on one side and Sheila Lee Jackson and this coalition and La Raza on the other side to debate this illegal immigration issue.
Pastor Moore you said on tv "people who are in our community we can't kick them down the road and make them someone else problem." I suggest you tell that to the government of Mexico and the countries of Central America. Also why is the location being kept a secret? I expect TRANSPARENCY from the church.I would also like to know who is involved in this coalition? Your Humanitarian enables law breakers, take your Humanitarian to Mexico or offer it to law abiding American citizens who are in need.
So many of you are missing the point. None of these people involved are supporting illegal immigration. They merely recognize the humanitarian needs of those involved and are seeking to do God's work. Period. No one ever said Mohammad is in the Bible or that Christians should pray to him. This was not a religious event but a civic event organized by a multi-faith coalition. Thus the need to recognize those faiths. You do not know any of the people involved. Don't judge lest you be judged.
how strange...this so-called pastor is praising "mohammad" when as we speak in africa and the middle east; "islamists" and murdering/beheading and torturing christians just because the are christians!!!....historical "mohammad" was a desert pirate and brigand...he stole and killed....order whole towns destroyed!!! jesus did not do such things..no comparison!!! this s0-called minister is an idiot!!!!
As a christian I've never heard the name Mohammad spoken in any prayer. I support the word of God and the law. The law says it is illegal to come to this country illegally. It's really simple.
Well, mr. Glenn, as a Christian, I DO take myself seriously as Jesus said to do in 1st Peter 4:7..One of the problems today is some of the Churches are becoming "humanistic" in their teachings and NOT going to the Word of God for their instructions. I am also a member of US Border Watch, yes, we have Christian people in our group that READ the Word of God. Flagwaver
Glenn Wilkerson is aiding and abetting criminal activity and is more concerned about illegal aliens than the American people and American poor! If you want to serve the illegal aliens take your church to Mexico and stop preaching to the American people and start preaching to the Mexican Government and the people of Mexico about law breaking.
Cypress Creek Interfaith Coalition is aiding and abetting criminal activity and does not care what the American people want. The church is not above immigration laws. We are a Nation of law and order. It is immoral to steal American Childrens future. It is time for the churches, media and elected officials to preach to the Mexican Government!
Often at interfaith events all three of the Abrahamic faiths' prophets are named because they all have a common God. Those who seek out interfaith dialogue to head off the kind of religious-based violence that exists in the world today are appropriately trying to find commonality among those involved in hope of bringing an end to needless violence in the world. Glenn Wilkerson has done more to benefit the FM 1960 area than any other person. He is a truly compassionate and Godly man.
Mr. Basel, as a protestant Christian the Bible I read has never mentioned Mohammad. I have read it through 3 times and God did not find it necessary to include him..The Church's reason for being is to "preach the gospel" (the Word of God)not to "head-off religious-based violence"...I am also a US Border watch member and I wonder if your congergation is aware of your pastors "humanistic" views of religion. thank you,....flagwaver
A Christian pastor invoking the name of Mohammed in the closing segment of a prayer in a Christian church is about as normal as Iran allowing gays to live freely in their nation (i.e. not normal whatsoever for you dumbasses)
Mohammed's god doesn't have a son therefore it's not the same God.

I'd like to give that "pastor" another black eye to math the one he already has. What a truly despicable excuse for a human being.

"...about as normal as Iran allowing gays to live freely in their nation..."
Hence the Iranian president's comment that they don't have homosexuals in Iran. Wonder if they are allowed to live AT ALL.
