You can here 53's En Route for like 10mi...I used to live in SoCal and i'd run outside every time they'd fly over from MCAS Miramar to KNJK.

I've flown in with our 53's in this same spot! I think this was my unit actually, before I got to it. We are stationed out of Cherry Point, not far at all from New River... Im not sure if new rivers 53 squadrons land at this spot

I don't know about awfully big place to land, considering the rotor size and you've got more than one of these 53s to fit there. Probably not too many feet between the blades of those two helos.

@N27gt I was thinking the same thing. I don't think it counts as "confined" if you could fit an aircraft carrier in there.
