@Edificially I've seen SOME changes in the last couple of years and, It's just that, for me, personally (as a dubhead). I look at it as an insult, since flux pavillion, doctor p and the rest of the shit producers took the dubstep game too a whole other level, the modern dubstep has been nothing but crap. Calling it BROstep is no insult, it's basically dubstep based on high frequent sounds and hard hitting drums. The dub comes from reggae, and where's the reggae in this?
