  • By the way your video looks great. It is obvious that you put loads of work into it and tons of flying to get it all together. Some very beutifull coastline film. Cheers and happy flying.

  • Wow, the first Moyes XT145 video here on youtube - love the glider - but why surprone!? please- that looks horrible and really spoils the whole video!!!

  • Come on

The hole video is all about flying SUPINE!

  • Yeah like what a comment! Combatpara-name says it all RETARD! Some of the most gracefully hanging out i,ve ever seen on you tube and retard has a dumb comment like that. Duh like i,ve finally seen a XT145 on here and ya had ta ruin it. Ha yuck ha yuck........What a Moron

  • hey..everyone is able to do what he want..so don´t say it looks horrible to fly supine..maybe it´s a real comfortably psition!!!

  • Enjoyed this very much. 10 mins of "memory flying" for me, as I used to fly seated in late 70's and early 80's. Wished I would have never gone prone(neck can't handle it). Still flying and would love to go back to supine. Give us more!!

  • i wouldn't fly over water, only fields and grass plains for me..

  • Great! I'm the surprone flyer and your video is great. My friend flys supine and I would love to know where you got your base tube. Did you make it or is that something you can buy? I loveed the old swing seat. We used those back in the early 70th in the Regallo gliders. Good luck and fly right...

  • The last few supine pilots in Denmark uses leftovers from the eighties, I guess?

The solution shown here must be easier and safer to make yourself compared to the rotating speed-bar solution!

  • Also music by The Flying Pickets I think

So I don't confuse ppl - pickets never used hanggliders

  • Interesting Harness and flying position.

    Several Questions.

Is the only A Frame modification the control hoop on the base bar?

Are you positioned lower than in Prone?

Can you still flare using the uprights when landing?

Can I try it? I'm in England I have an Avian Java 155

  • Nope there is more to this conversion - see updated description.

Yes you are positioned a little lower than in prone but you can still use the uprights for the flare.

I have seen all kind of models converted for supine.
