Are you delusional? 70 percent of Americans want the Iraq war to end. It's likely the most warmongering republican will be nominated. Obama is at least marginally against the Iraq war, so McCain doesn't stand a chance.

If the Republicans really wanted a win against the Democrats this year, they should have overwhelmingly nominated Ron Paul, the only SOLIDLY antiwar candidate still in this race.

I agree with you on Ron Paul. I think you're right. This thing happened fast and Ron could barely get out of the single digits. Romney could have beaten McCain if that backwoods idiot Huckabee had dropped out in W VA. Big mistake! Now, possible economic collapse and more war is in the future.
