It's not the guitar, it's the player. A shitty player couldn't pick up Number One and make it sing the way SRV did, but I bet SRV could pick up a bottom of the barrel FA guitar and just wow the crowds with it. Guys, stop flaming on First Act. It's a respectable company that does great custom guitars. Even a company like Gibson puts out shitty beginner guitars at Walmart. I guarantee you won't get the same as the VW garagemaster out of a lot of pricey guitars. It's got a great built in pre-amp. Plus it kinda looks like Brian May's Red Special, which is awesome.
