  • Actually I know a lot about hockey I've been a hockey since I was 4 okay.

  • @NRMSkid12

    Doesn't show.

  • @NRMSkid12 How are the Blackhawks doing?

  • Ive been a Hawks Fan all my life actually

  • "Our team is better our team is better"

Just saying, at least the Wings don't need the refs on their payroll to win a hockey game. If you're getting a boost from the league (and you are), you can't talk shit. Sorry.

  • Anyone notice how the Wings fans are generally being pretty classy, and the Hawks fans are acting like a bunch of pants-on-head homers who don't know anything about hockey? Weird.

  • Terrible call. He barely even touched his arm!

  • @genbucket Stfu No Howard sucks ass so shut the fuck up you Detroit bandwagoner fan Chicago is clearly the better team 24-10-4 while Detroit 24-13-1 sure Howard may have most wins as a goalie But Chicago is the better team so Fuck off!!!

  • @NRMSkid12

Ok, the same wins.. Wings are 3 points back (yes, only 3).. The only difference is a few overtime/shootout wins for the Hacks. Get a grip kid.

  • @NRMSkid12

Obviously you're one of those superfans that doesn't know anything about hockey. Cool.

  • @NRMSkid12 Howard sucks ass? He leads the league in wins and is going to the all star game ya dumb shit. And Detroit is ahead in the standings and we've beaten the hawks last 2 out of 3. And Detroit fans are bandwagoners?? Hows that possible when theyve been the best team in the league the last 20 yrs and chicago fans hardly knew they had a hockey team until they won a few years ago. Just stop talking you sound like an idiot like the rest of chicago hockey fans.

  • @TiredVigilante

go rob a cabby you puke

  • go rob a cabby you bunch of pukes.

  • Oh no, it was a horrendous call. You're just rooting for your team. This is a perfect example of why they need to do something about the officiating in the nhl. The Hawks won by one goal, and you can't help but go back to this one. Absolute trash.

  • @raymondlavasseur

For one Detroit did get away with what should have been a penalty shot later that game on hossa, and also the wings first goal their were 2 missed interference calls that lead to the goal. So really I don't look down upon this play. And what was up with the wings 1st period, just throwing weak shots on net. I caught the stat for chances at the end of the first and it was 4-9 in hawks favor. Yet shots were 7-10. Would explain more why the shots were even.

  • I was at this game that was not a bad call!! your just jealous that Toews can beat Howard cuz Howard Sucks

  • @NRMSkid12 Howard 22-9 with a 1.99 GAA.... Crawford 15-8 with a 2.77 GAA I am 100% sure that Howards better then your goalie. Oh and not to mention he has the most wins over any goalie in the NHL, don't ever open your mouth to speak again.

  • @genbucket

However Howard was a 3.66 GAA against the hawks. Whats up with that one.

  • @Kartkid024 3-2 first meeting, wheres the .66 come from, good math

  • @maymunaxxx

Overall buddy. Detroits feed showed that stat at the begining of the game. My maths just fine, your common sense, not so much.

  • @Kartkid024 wasnt your math, dont take credit for stuff you didnt do

  • @maymunaxxx

Maybe it would be best if you just stopped talking.

  • I didn't know Detroit fans bitched more than Vancouver fans.

  • Everyone has to deal with questionable calls throughout the season. Learn to deal with it.

BTW, Toews S-M-O-K-E-D Howard. SWEET GOAL CAPTAIN SERIOUS!

  • the nhl is up to there old ticks again . its obvious when one team is called for 5 penalties and the other just 1 . wings were worthy of 2 but not 5 and a penalty shot . betuzzi`s goaltender interference was crap . the wings are the only team called for interference and boarding anymore . i watch alot of hockey and this is obvious to me and anyone that knows the sport. detroit is one of the least penalized teams in the nhl yet they have more penalties in games then there opponents .

  • @mojo1278

Because they're an Original Six team with a huge fan base. The league calls games in favor of other teams to generate profit and fan interest, because they know Wings fans are always going to be there. They know we toughed out the 70s and 80s. They know a bogus call isn't going to pull anyone out of their seat. Which is bullshit.

  • @mojo1278 stfu and man up you fucking crybaby

  • I knew bad cals like this were going to be common once the NHL decided that a penalty shot can be when the player is clear by the blue line instead of the Red Line

  • i get that it was close enough for a breakaway, but i don't get where there's a hook or anything to warrant a penalty shot by the letter of the law. the rule on penalty shots is clear that there has to be holding, hooking, tripping, or throwing equipment at the player. Detroit's owed some bad calls their way, going back to Hansen plowing Howard for Edler's goal

  • @TheMrAllenBlue

Turns out Lidstrom came out and said he hook his jersey, but not by much. I didn't think he did, but I never saw the reverse angle. They did miss what should have been a penalty on Hossa later on this game, and the wings first goal had 2 missed interference calls that actually created the goal. So I suppose it all evens out in the end. Detroit just had way to many penalties and even though hawks never scored on the PP I think it was enough to wear down detroit.

  • The Hawks broadcast had a replay from the reverse angle that clearly showed Lidstrom's stick blade got Toews at his right shoulder. The ref was looking at the play from that angle so it was an easy call for him to make. If this is the only feed you saw, I can understand being upset, but the additional camera angle tells the true story.

  • @IDF1987

Ok, so their was a better angle. I never got a view from the otherside, just this view. And from this view it doesn't look like he ever touches him. But again I'm yet to see a comcast view from the other angle.

  • that was an incredible lead pass

  • I'm a huge hawks fan....and I admit that's a bad call but we'll take it!

  • @kwoloson

I think alot of hawk fans including myself feel it was a a bad call. Turns out Lidstrom said it wasn't a bad call. How strange is that? In the end its not what cost detroit the game.

  • WAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Detroit sucks!

  • why on earth did he have his stick up there anyway? Only gave the ref one more reason to call the penalty. Careless decision by the wings.

  • @Kartracer6 It's pretty much a given that if your stick goes horizontal you're going to get called for hooking every time.

  • And the conspiracy continues... *rolls eyes*

  • Watch the offsides call near the end of the video. These refs suck.

  • BS CALL

  • I wondered how long it would take for a wings fan to get this up. Its amazing really.

  • Where the fuck was the hook???

That's the second time that's happened to the Wings this season (Kopitar penalty shot). Chintzy calls leading to a penalty shot.

  • @triplexxxsatyr

My thoughts exactly man. I flat out don't understand it.

  • Yep. There were two occasions where the refs were calling two different games for the same play: Jimmy had the puck corralled against the post and waited for the whistle, which never came and the play continued and the Wings never got a chance to make a change so they were pressed in their own zone for about 45 seconds longer.

Crawford had a scramble in his crease, THE PUCK WAS OBVIOUSLY LOOSE, and the refs blow the play dead. HE NEVER HAD POSSESSION OF THE PUCK IN HIS CREASE. It's bullshit.

  • @triplexxxsatyr

Oh I know man, Ab's and Miller had a chance with the LOOSE puck in Crawfords crease, can clearly see the puck was being jumbled around, not covered, yet the whistle goes yet Jimmy had it covered, but no whistle.

It's shit calls like that and this, that can cost teams playoff appearances.. Points are harder to come by each year but guess sometimes ref's feel like they need to show they can control a game when they get bored. A "hey, look at me!" type of scenario.

  • I thought that was the rule. If the ref does NOT see the puck and he sees that the goalie thinks he has it, you blow the play dead.

In Crawford's crease, he saw with his own fucking eyeballs that the puck was live and he blew the play dead.

  • @triplexxxsatyr

That's precisely how it's supposed to be, must be rookie ref's. What a time for the NHL to debut them.

  • stfu you faggets! hawks win and they will win the cup this year again!

  • @Roenick97Fan

The Hawks haven't been relevant for two years, and they won't be again for at least five to ten. You know what a rebuilding phase is? Get used to it.

  • @TiredVigilante

Hawks already have done their rebuilding (And its been the last 3 years plus this year that they have been relevant) And I'm not sure how you think they won't be good for another 5-10 years when they are already great and don't see anything in the future that will prevent that. Now Detroit it may be another 5 or 10 years before they rebuilding is complete again. I see them missing their first playoffs in the next 5 years since god knows how long.

  • @Roenick97Fan

Keep dreaming for another 50 years. That's how long it's going to take the Hacks to win another cup (again).
