1: the "creepers" in the pic are zombies modified with a creeper skin.

2: creepers drop one of (currently) two records. the green record plays this song and the gold record plays "18", which is crap.

3: you need a music box to play records. craft it like a chest with a diamond in the middle.

4: creepers will ONLY drop a record if the hit that kills them is made by a skeleton, not you.

I just found out about this a little while ago, 'cause a friend told me to try it. I liked the free version well enough (although that does get old after a while). Alpha has a whole ton of features that Classic doesn't, so I'm thinking of getting it around Christmas time. x3

I love the simple, block style of the terrain and the creatures, it's cute. x3

Minecraft's playerbase is quickly growing. I don't have time to try it but people told me it's a very addictive game.

I find this particular song relaxing, it's from a music box monsters called "creepers" drop, that green thing behind the tree in the screenshot.

@SupraDarky Yeah, Minecraft is really extremely addicting. I actually bought Fallout: New Vegas to play between grad school study breaks because I can actually stop playing that game, unlike Minecraft, which you can spend entire nights on.

Also, creepers are not to be messed with, ever.
