If you realy seek the God of Abraham Isaac an Jacob You can ask Him all the questions you want . The bible tells us seek and you will find ,knock and the door will be opened. If you are serious you can talk to God like you talk to other people. You will get an answer from him. The answer can be in a form of people speaking. Getting a peace of scripture. A certain situation etc.... The bible will also give you alot of answers.

@immymh It took me a long time to learn how to do this, but you are absolutely right my friend. Everyone can do this, we are wired for it. It takes practice, belief and discipline though. And a wise person takes a mentor or guru to make sure they stay on the path of light and love and do not veer off onto the path of egotism, self-will and grandiosity.
