  • 1982 - Heaven 17 "Let Me Go" was earlier than this with excellent 303 use

  • I agree with that!

  • Fantastic!

  • This is electronica, not techno!

  • @AORCrazy Amen!

  • You should listen Chris Carter's solo album "The Space Between" it was made before this I'm sure around 1980? but has all the same elements! Amazing stuff!

  • found it in the dolllla bin

  • Thanks for this great tune.

I never fount that release resp. I never saw a release by Chris Carters (I know about the discogr.), I own only the C&C releases.

    Thats music. :)

  • [ try mixing this with Autechres ' drane ' ]

  • yeah...i had this machines TB-303 in the 80`s...

And Chris and Cosey was the first who let it roll in the right way...so many techno kids don`t now how all starts...

minimal classical...look for more from this album in i-tunes shop..the hole album is there...

  • tune is sooo catchy its untrue

  • best shit going

  • This is straight up acid music!

Someone told me they may have been the first to use an 808 and a 303 together in the same track or the first to sequence the two machines in the same track.

Regardless...this was way ahead of its time for 1984...and I can see how they influenced future music. Sick!

  • oh yeah !!

  • discogs says it was rec. in 1982 so that's the 1st year of 303 production, it is probably a bit of history but THAT DRONE / BEAT / TUNE !!!!

  • This is so amazing,,

this is what is great about youtube

what a treasure and thanks for uploading

  • I know!!! Fuck myspace...I'd rather just have a youtube channel.

  • This whole lp is incredible. i have a vinyl copy and the VHS film of this. I can duplicate the VHS digitally if anyone would be willing to make a copy of Chris Carters' MondoBeat lp to DVD-audio disc, fair trade. I'll even throw in $20 USD with the copy. I have minor-version of Sony's SoundFORGE digital mastering program, in which i've digitally remastered from the digitzed version of the Em7 lp. new virgin vinyl at the time of purchase. serious trade

  • I just got this on vinyl... It sounds incredible.

  • Wow, I've got most of C&C's stuff but I hadn't heard this before. I don't think they've ever had the recognition they deserve...

  • This track is on Collectiv Three. You can order all of their backcatalogue from their website.
